But for all the kids watching, a couple tips sometimes work: 1. Sit still -- the more you move, the more they think you're still alive and they will keep tightening; 2. Unwrap the snake starting from the tail; 3. A lot of folks have success with Listerine (it's non-toxic and is safe for humans to ingest), just make that you do NOT get it in their eyes (a small eye dropper bottle is nice to keep around).

ball pythons rarely bite and it is usualy your falt,,, if you move too close to them and suddenly while they are feeding or pick them up while they are shedding it is possibe to get bitten, or sometimes it just happens,,, but it is not a commen thing. yes the more used to you they are the better thier temperment

@Oshtinpowers yeah, alot of the morphs are more for breeders, you figure you pay 1000 for a snake, and over a 5year peiod, you may be able to produce anywhere from 20 60+ eggs, all of wich can potentially be sold for 1000 dollars a piece, so from a breeders standpoint, its cheap since your gonna get your money back in no time, but if you were someone who wanted a pet, you might want to look at some other species, theres tons of really cool corn snakes out ranging from 20-300$, theyre way cheaper

You use strong grain alcohol, in a small cap near it's scent glands when water does not work.
And if you had brains, you'd go look at my videos to see how old I am, but you'd sooner make a comment with nothing to back it up.
On a side note, the main reason snakes bite other than feeling agitated or scared, is because they have gotten used to being fed in a cage, and eventually associate your hand with food.

The vapors from the alcohol also tend to be inhaled by the snake and also get in its eyes.

Aw! I love ball pythons. They are usually very nice. Try putting a mouse in frount of it if it bites again. It might let go and then go for the mouse. I have been bitten by dogs, cats, hamsters, mice, rats, and birds before, but never a ball python. I think the reason why people think all snakes are bad is because of ignorance.
The first sign if a snake won't let go that's not gonna be a good snake to keep. My snake bite me only twice and it was my fault I was still new at the time and I had my hand inside during feeding time that was probably like the first year when I had him he did that. He never held on just strike then let go cause I just fed him and my dumb ass had my hand in there when he just got done.
Well isnt that fun? lol. I've owned my ball for almost two year now, and today was the first time she has ever bite me and latched on. lol. I've been biten by her before, and it always seems to be during feedings (maybe I should wear gloves-lol). @24willieg i got a corn snake, they are easier because there shit is not as big and they need less heat, but if you could provide the extra heat and have no problem with a little extra poo, then get a ball python hoped i helped

You use strong grain alcohol, in a small cap near it's scent glands when water does not work.
And if you had brains, you'd go look at my videos to see how old I am, but you'd sooner make a comment with nothing to back it up.
On a side note, the main reason snakes bite other than feeling agitated or scared, is because they have gotten used to being fed in a cage, and eventually associate your hand with food.
And way to get on someone's ass for a typo.

1. I had this snake for about a week when this happened
2. This snake is not "aggressive"( the proper spelling) in any way
3. The snake did not bite me while in its cage, I was holding it in my hands for a good 5 minutes, when it decided it was going to try to eat my finger.
4. SInce you are almost undoubtedly about 12, and own 1 snake if that, I would refrain from calling people who have been keeping reptiles longer then you have been alive dumbasses, DUMBASS!

@MrGamingxglitcher wat would me being a hippie have to do with not wanting to address something that i have already addressed like 20 times, I've been doing this for quite a while and know what i am doing, the logic behind listerine is basically to burn the snakes mouth into letting go, which yes can be harmful to the snake, specially one of this size. The vapors from the alcohol also tend to be inhaled by the snake and also get in its eyes.

Aw! I love ball pythons. They are usually very nice. Try putting a mouse in frount of it if it bites again. It might let go and then go for the mouse. I have been bitten by dogs, cats, hamsters, mice, rats, and birds before, but never a ball python. I think the reason why people think all snakes are bad is because of ignorance.

The first sign if a snake won't let go that's not gonna be a good snake to keep. My snake bite me only twice and it was my fault I was still new at the time and I had my hand inside during feeding time that was probably like the first year when I had him he did that. He never held on just strike then let go cause I just fed him and my dumb ass had my hand in there when he just got done.

Well isnt that fun? lol. I've owned my ball for almost two year now, and today was the first time she has ever bite me and latched on. lol. I've been biten by her before, and it always seems to be during feedings (maybe I should wear gloves-lol). @24willieg i got a corn snake, they are easier because there shit is not as big and they need less heat, but if you could provide the extra heat and have no problem with a little extra poo, then get a ball python hoped i helped
