Thanks for posting this video of what appears to be a very healthy Caribbean reef... I live in Puerto Rico and we still have some very nice reefs, but the elkhorn and staghorn corals are usually dead or damaged...l did you see any healthy stands of those corals in Cuba?
I must confess that I am not any good at distinguishing one kind of coral from another. I just enjoy the views!!! However there is very little diver traffic in Cayo Largo which probably help with keeping the reef healthy. I would say that at the most 30-40 divers per day will spread over one of the dozens of sites around the island.
Can't wait to go back myself! Glad you appreciate the video. Go see my other dive videos if you want.
Diving in Cuba is great. Especially on the south side of the island (Caribbean Sea) as the North side (Atlantic) can be more windy and rough sometimes. Cayo Largo is very nice and the dive staff is great.
The music is by Eric Satie (Gnossienne #5) played by Pascal Rogé. It's available on iTunes
What kind of camera did you use, what clear images

Is a shame that the Cuban people can not enjoy these resources ... only tourists can enjoy this, the "leaders" and their friends ...
