I'm a huge Death Cab fan, and I ALMOST agree with you. The intro is really long, sometimes annoyingly long. But if you going to listen to the song, then you have to listen to the whole song. Not the radio edit.

The intro is just a little odd and would be better if it were about 2-3 minutes shorter. Song has a very unique sound to it which makes it just great to listen to.

I love both bands. I'd rather just say they're both great, because that's what they both are, great bands. The 4:35 ish intro to this song is kinda laughable though. This song is particular has a really unique sound to it though.

i actually believe that it was well needed, listening to it on the album as it brings in all the instruments one by one, you just have to get into each new instrument coming in, and the actual singing comes in perfectly, in my opinion
