This was played at my brother's memorial service. He passed away 12-17-11. I miss him so much. He committed suicide. He was only 33. It's not even been a month and I just can't go a day without thinking about how much he meant to everyone who knew him. He was loved by ever single person who knew him. I am honored to have had the chance to know him in his short time here on Earth. I remember growing up we used to play in the woods. We played like he was Jason Voorhees chasing after me.

This was our wedding song 23 yrs ago, my husband was in the service fighting fire in Yellowstone in 1988. On the way home he heard the song and picked this out for our wedding. I wonder if the composer's of 'You Raise Me Up' had this song in mind? The 1st 2 lines of WBMW's chorus can be sung to the first 2 lines of YRMU's chorus and vice versa. Its interesting how both songs are about gaining strength and self belief from the love of another.
