  • i want to marry mayda del valle shes fuckin amazing!

  • Ooooooh. I know what you mean. She's just got a way about her, her loudness isn't annoying like loudness usually is. There's just something about her.

  • passionate. not many people like that. watch her other poems especially The Gift. awesome!

  • yea well he wasnt famous for playing drums, he was a Timbales player. look him up and notice what thier talking about when they refer to him lipsynching the timbales. he was brilliant.

  • i loved it!!! tito was and still is da man =]

  • Poetry could never be this cool, over here, where I live in England.

  • its different and nearly all poetry is like this.

poetry advances from not norm.. from what it is..

hip hop is kind of an advancement of potery.. its poetry with a beat.

AND NO dont speak on lil john and fifity cent.. they have nothing to do with real rap.

anyways.. poetry shoudlnt be sticking with odl cliche's it needs to break away from that.. every artist can create an image.. play on words is poetry..

  • rap.. Rythm And Poetry

  • nah thats hip hop

  • lol no sir i believe you are confused

  • money cars girls? you need to stop listening to the radio if that's what you think

  • are we talking about the same genre? What are some hip hop artist in your opinion and what are some rap artist

  • hip hop and rap both have their mainstream radio bullshit (money cars girls) and their underground, which is a lot more than money cars girls.

  • bet u'd feel diffrent if u looked up K''naan

  • i know k'naan. i consider him hiphip, poetry.

  • im glad u know him and glad u see him as hiphop poetry ^^

    have a nice weekend

  • wat you consider immortal technique?

  • If you're gonna love poetry, love the basics as well as the abnormal. True Hip Hop is like poetry with a beat. Rap is Money, Cars, Clothes, Girls, Chains and all that other bullshit you hear on the radio.

  • @Mizunderstood08 you perfectly said what i've been saying for a long ass time man i'm only 22 but i'm a poet, highly influenced by rhymes and hip hop. i got into a huge argument with my bro and he's a huge hip hop head i told him TRUE HIP HOP is poetry with a beat man real talk you think poetry wasn't here long before hip hop ? you're a fool. good shit man.

  • @Mizunderstood08 yes hip hop is culture, that other shit is, well............SHIT!!!!

  • Poetry is a better way to release anger and other emotions. T.V. & Movies will just rot your little brain (or what's left of it) until there's nothing else left.

  • Ironic since we are watching this on tv ;)

  • wow that was actually amazing. You dont even have to be a fan of tito puente or latin music to enjoy that poem...amazing

  • yeah im not a fan of tito but i REALLY liked that poem

  • I actually like lemon

  • i don't like Limon, but this was good and new for him. at least i did'nt have to listen to his rhetoric bout prison. The Puerto Ricin Walter Sochek.

  • Don't knock because you wasn't in his shoes respect and be glad for him because he came out of his situation better that was put out for him.

  • take it easy Mr.T, as far situations are concerned here, prison is one that should'nt be hyped up. I'm from Chicago, Humbolt Park and a former Latin King, Violated in and out. Made my bones on Clybourne Ave, Back inda 80s smokin BDG niggaz onda bounce. Tall az they come. that laid out. Lemon is a doofast tall tale maniac, this cats renditions of The Real World are just that...somebody elses writ. learn some Chi-town scripture from the street and don't get hung up onda performance...nuff said

  • I'm not a Lemon fan, but this shit is HOT.

  • You need to listen to all of his shhh on Def Poetry Jam He is Fire!

  • yess wut he said V. All of his shit is fire!! no lie.

  • yep its kool but i am getting lost here

  • niga niga niga ngia niga hahahahaa ya niga hahhahahaha basickally

  • I got a little loss after a while

  • I this one...can't get it out of my head...lol

  • SHIT! This def poetry jam stuff gets addictive! hahahaha. u can see y tho, its a breathe of fresh air. i bin lookin for sumfin nu all this time and it was rite here

  • lol yeh i can stop watching em!

  • LOL GOT LOST AFTER AWHILE

  • The song 'tis 'Oye Como Va', written and composed by Tito Puente, the musician of whom they spoke. :) Frequently imitated, never surpassed.

  • What is that song they started singing? Anyone?

  • Maya Del Valle. A truly beautiful woman in more ways than one. Beautiful, Intelligent, Creative, what else could you want in a woman(speaking as a man who appreciates a woman for more than just her beauty).
