@gameshowluvr86 I did too, he was doing the $250,000 Game Show Spectacular in Atlantic City and he was a really fun guy. He loved talking about being picked up by Mt. Fiji.
@samsticka And they asked Bill Rafferty to name as many items of a certain thing, and it seemed as Bill Rafferty was setting up to allow for an exact guess and a $500 bonus.
And Bob Eubanks removing some of his clothes in this clip? Now I seen everything. Though his weight of 193 lbs back in 1987 was truly my weight back in 2005.
@samsticka I think, seeing that Bill Rafferty may have set up the listing of certain items in 30 seconds and allowed for an exact guess, and Bob Eubanks' version may have done that as well, so that is probably why those kinds of educated guess questions were short-lived and may have been banned from the show sometime in 1987.
@samsticka I don't think Missouri was a state capital. One of the card dealers gave a false answer, so the contestant should have been brought back on a later episode.
@jermainemack They wore nylon stockings with high heels back in the day.
Besides, being barefoot is not very hygenic, IMO. Though I do see TPIR models in their bare feet while demonstrating trampolines or standing on a boat being offered, or even sitting in an empty spa. Lacey and Suzanna were ahead of the game with this hygenic practice of wearing nylon stockings, me thinks.
Wish Bob took his socks off too !

If TPIR offers a carnival weight scale as a prize, Drew Carey could weigh himself on it!

They once asked Lacey and Susanna if they could name all the capitals of the US under 30 seconds.
samsticka 2 years ago
@samsticka When in the run did that question be asked? Was it earlier in 1987? Around what month?
And how many State Capitals did they name?
JonSea31 1 year ago
@JonSea31 I have no idea. But they didn't get that many. I know they got at least one and it was Missouri.

Why didn't they weigh Price is Right models of the time Janice, Dian, and Holly for a combined weight?
heine71 3 years ago
You never see that amount of variety and fun in today's gameshows IMO.
