  • When the writers were sitting around the table talking about this, I'm sure they had quite a debate on how Tuvok was going to kill Neelix. Slit his throat? Hold his head in a deep fat fryer? Rip his still-beating heart out and shove it in his mouth? The list is endless! The bad news was, they could only do it in one episode. Now, if they'd shown Tuvok repeatedly going to the holodeck to try different ways (like Garak did with Quark), that would have been fun, too!

  • This should be a Youtube Poop and should use footage from the Seven of Nine brings Neelix back to life episode.

  • Tuvok's thoughts 1:20, feels good man.

  • Alas--it was only a beautiful, beautiful dream.

Neelix is the JarJar Binx of Trek.

  • I love the music as neelix dies and falls to the floor. The sound of the dramatic horns wailing proclaiming the death of neelix in the shows self absorbed/self-righteous attitude

  • I was disappointed when I realized this didn't happen.

  • this is voyagers wesley crusher.. lol

  • @irontusk341 SHUT-UP NEELIX!! lol

  • Never trust the black dude

  • Anyone who thinks there is a more annoying Star Trek character than Neelix is simply wrong. And I am not saying that passionately or plaintively, I'm afraid it is the objective truth that he is the most annoying regular character in a Trek series and detracts from the quality of the show at every turn. It is unfortunate.

  • @ThisIs4Cody Wesley crusher

  • @Akhenaten2011 Wesley is close, but not quite. Def the most annoying character on TNG by a landslide, but Neelix actually inspires a desire to do violence. Wesley is annoying in the way that many over-eager kids are annoying. The quality of Neelix's voice; his inflections and mannerisms churn up hatred in the pit of one's stomach.

  • @ThisIs4Cody to be honest, never seen voyager before but I usually watch TNG

  • It goes: uuuahhhhhhhheuhhhh ooo

  • Kill Neelix:Most used program on the holodeck.

  • if only it had been real.

  • Well, that was an interesting song, I must admit.

  • Well it was the logical course of action.

  • i fuckin hate felix..

  • @Seannyskillz you myself and countless other people that wished it just ended like this and he never came back

  • But I like Neelix. . . .

  • I need one of those holo-deck programs.

  • oh come on, Neelix was a very genuine and enjoyable character, I liked him being around :)

  • "There's an old talaxian song my mother would sing to me. I'm going to sing it for you every day. It goes..."

    Tuvok grabs him.

"I believe you're thinking of...Through Fire and Flames."

Throws him into the plasma cooker.

  • well he stopped.

  • @mad4you1000 and Tuvok smiled.

  • Tuvok really represents the audience here.

  • OK. When I saw this scene I laughed until I couldn't breath! Like Neelix LOL!!!!!

"Mr. Vulcan...I'm sorry...I can't breath!" LOL!!!!! Tuvok's dialog was edited though from the original:

"What do I have to do to get you to STOP F**KING WITH ME? Is Tuvok gonna have to choke a b***ch?"

  • In many ways, the Vulcans are just as irritating (though in a different fashion) as some of you think Neelix is (or dating back to TNG, as irritating as some think Wesley is). Their self-proclaimed superiority gets to be too much.

  • nice to know i wasn't the only one who thought neelix was annoying. i never understood how a babe like kes put up with him.

  • neelix is that annoying redheaded kid we all knew in grade 6 or so, whose name was likely Bobby or Brendan that thinks hes your friend, but doesnt understand your need to have him fuck off.

  • almost as good as the csi episode where justin bieber got shot

  • YAY!

  • You really have to wonder, what the hell was wrong with the writers? Even in college I knew writers better than this.

  • Ah, the good old days of Star Trek Voyager on Spike

  • His face at 1:04 suggests he has an ENORMOUS boner.

  • This is the sole reason why Vulcans should have embraced their emotions, and why I like the Romulans.:They kill annoying adversaries. Neelix wouldn't have lasted one week on a Romulan warbird. You were so close, Tuvok!

  • I started cheering when I saw this. Oh, the disappointment...

  • Look out Darth Vader! Here comes Tuvok!

  • @In0tuhTR3KKi3

Neelix has failed Tuvok for the last time. :D

  • i actually like his mother's song :D

  • Black Vulcans....see what happens ?

  • @RebelAdmiral what you tryin ta say uh? im black! im black as heck!

  • wait how does that song go again? AGHHHOOOOH!!!! XDDDD

  • The fact that this is a holodeck simulation actually makes it even funnier.

It means that this is Tuvok's idea of relaxing.

  • @AngryChamois It's actually a result of a mind-meld with Suder the Betazoid Psychopath

  • @AngryChamois Or, given that he's worried that he might be losing his self-control in this episode, and wants to test if he can restrain himself when he's severely pissed off, he's considered what would be most likely to send him into a murderous rage....and decided that it's Neelix. Sounds about right. XD

  • My guess is that Tuvok had to do this on a twice-daily routine?

  • nice! exhilarating!

  • Well Neelix, I was fairly disappointed in your rendition of that song. You were off pitch the whole time and I think you didn't get the words right at all. For shame Neelix, for shame

  • Why couldn't this be done to Wesley in TNG?

  • I have a new screensaver :D

  • i didn't watch voyager long enough to see this episode...and now i wish i had. lmao

  • I wish I had the vulcan strenght and knew the vulcan hold, that nmakes you faint on the floor in a second...

  • Is this scene from the episode where Tuvok mind melds with a psychotic murderer?

  • if i was the captain i would tell tuvok. you did a good job. and the official records state that neelix choked eating one of his own cooked dishes. lol

  • The Vulcan death grip.

  • FALCO TUVOK PUNCH, NELIX SUCKS!!

  • TUVOK SMASH!!!

  • If only it actually happened, alas.

  • If only that had been for real on the show, and in the first episode.

  • Thank you Tuvok

  • 0:44: One MILLION dollars!!

  • I swear when I was younger I saw a preview for this scene on UPN but Tuvok stabbed Neelix. I couldn't have dreamed that, could I? Either way, it is awesome. I still think there should have been an episode where someone found that program in the database and then the crew took turns running it. You know they all want to,

  • It ended too soon. Did he smile?

  • Worst character ever. Kess is a close 2nd.

  • @theorosa no way kes kicked ass. harry kim is a close 2nd.

  • @theorosa What are you talking about? Kes, Neelix, and the Doctor were the best things about that show. .

  • What episode was this? I don't remember this scene. (I know I wouldn't have forgot that scene)

  • @GulStraxus the name is in the description, it's called "Meld" and it was aired during Season 2

  • put ST on N and it says steelix..

  • Baaaaaahaahaahaahaa just the fact he programed that

  • tuvok looks like obama

  • neelix reminds me on jack black xDD

  • All I'm thinking during this is: FINALLY!

  • @EmbraceMe711 The only good thing about Voyager is this scene.

  • @Nerdovich You're forgetting about Seven of Nine's boobs :D

  • If holodecks were real, I'd create the exact same program.

  • But i like neelix :c

  • @nakine123 You just like him because he's whimsical and cat-like.

  • damn cockteasing scene....everyone wanted him dead

  • I never really hated Neelix, but I thought this scene was funny. Honestly, the best part is when you think about it, Tuvok probably goes into the holodeck and murders the people who annoy him, like all the time. It's always the quiet ones...

  • Neelix has about as much appeal as a character from a children's show. Good thing Voyager is just a show and too bad this was just a holodeck program

  • I felt a weight lift off my shoulders as that freak slid down the wall. =P

  • How did neelix hitch a ride on a starship for 7 years??

  • @msav111 He helped navigate through unkown space to Voyager which was known to Neelix.

  • the death scene wasnt long enough. im glad i wasnt the only one who hates neelix

  • Ill be honest: I didnt like Neelix at first either. But actually its pretty funny that he is annoying everyone on this ship and still doesnt get dropped off on the next uninhabited planet... and that way... i got used to him and actually i couldnt imagine Voyager without Neelix trying to pwn the doctor or tom all the way through the Delta Quadrant...

  • I always thought that little weasel Wesley was way more annoying...not Voyager though, but still way more irritating.

  • Failed to mention, I liked Neelix. He was a nice guy.

  • The moment we have all waited for...

  • its a bloody shame it wasnt real

  • Silly Tuvok, you can't kill Satan that easily

  • This program became even more popular than Tuvok's program where the Maquis mutiny once it was discovered.

  • Neelix or Jar Jar Binks, which was more annoying?

  • Tell him: "US Marines killed Osama". He'll smile a lot and say: "what a cosy joke"!

  • Man, how many Neelix's have we grown up with? Fucking ignorant cheery buggers....

  • neelix was cool.

  • This definitely qualifies as a fanservice moment. Realizing that they'd created a highly annoying character that no one liked, they gave we, the viewers, a wonderfully executed scene of Tuvok killing Neelix in a justifiable moment of rage. Too bad it wasn't real, but I bet Tuvok goes to this holodeck program every time Neelix annoys him.

  • What's with all the Neelix hating? Some of the best episodes featured Neelix heavily. He was one of my favorite characters. :)

  • what the hell did Kes ever see in him??!!

  • 0:14 you all saw it folks, Neelix ASSAULTED Tuvok.

Tuvok was totally justified in strangling Neelix. Self defense.

  • @ZKY2 Oh yes; after all- it's only logical;-)

  • Comment removed

  • lwhat a little pric% neelix is i hate him, hes so annoying!!!! i was so hopefull he would die..... damn................

  • Proof that there is such a thing as justifiable homicide.

  • I have to be the only one who actually likes Neelix...yeah he's annoying, but he's entertaining; for example this scene. Who was heartbroken when Tuvok said "end program"? EVERYONE!

Kinda like Peggy Hill from King of the Hill...so fraking stupid and annoying but entertaining none-the-less.

  • YAY I HATE NEELIX

  • Hey I like Neelix!

  • tuvok having fantasies of killing stupid neelix.... hes my hero :)

  • Why did they hav e to break our hearts with "end holodeck program"? I was full of hope until then...

  • The Tuvok character really deserved a better show than this

  • This should have been the end scene for Voyager

  • @Razor1262 This scene should have been in the pilot episode, without the holodeck ending.

  • hes probably got a tom parris program aswell

  • episodes with too much of this little twirp are almost unwatchable.

  • Tuvok, you can't kill Neelix, hedgehogs are a protected species.

  • He was so annoying. I even cringe to this day when Ethan Phillips shows up on one of my programs.

Oh and he wasn't in 6 episodes

  • I stood up and shouted at the TV first time I saw this.

  • I remember seeing this part.

When Tuvok says "Computer. End holo-deck program.", I was a little dissapointed that it was only a simulation, I must admit.

Neelix is a rather annoying character to watch, and he is featured too much in my opinion.

    Tuvok is my favourite.

  • You should have ended the video just before he said "Computer, end program." It would have been much more awesome that way. Would have seemed more like he really killed him. Hehehehehe!

  • Can you put lyrics on from that song lol?

  • lol that was awesome!! wish i had a hollodeck, I'd like to do some of that STRESS relive on some people!! ;p

  • hey, he's using an ipad!

  • Tuvok, it was said you would destroy the sith not join them!

  • Best. Scene. Ever.

  • this scene if it were real and not some stupid holodeck thing would have made voyager so much better, even better would have been neelix dying in the 2nd episode!!!

  • @mildminotaur argeed!!!! he almost makes jar jar binks tolerable by comparison!!

  • He does smirk a little at the end when he watches the body disappear.

  • Hmm... So Tuvok was testing his limits, and he needed something that would make him really angry... So, does he create a simulation of his children being brutally murdered? How about his wife being raped?

No, he creates a conversation with Neelix.

Proof that Neelix is the most aggravating thing in the galaxy.

  • He's like jah jah binx

  • I started singing that song too but then things got awkward.

  • finish him off tuvok! do it now!

  • Fuck, if i were Tuvok... i would do the same.

  • But... but... Neelix is my favorite.

  • @TekelBrighteyes

This the first comment I read thus far, which defends the annoying git whose name i shall not honour in scripture...and I KNOW you don't mean it !!!

  • @orion1077 Ah but I do. I hated him at first, but he became one of my favorite characters.

  • ANGER MANAGEMENT lol.

  • fuck yeah Tuvok

  • Pretty...crazy song is mother came up with..xD but seriously nice going tuvok!!

  • I like to pretend that from 1:21 onwards didn't happen.

  • I really feel Neelix was added because they saw how successfully the "love-to-hate" feeling worked for Wesley.

  • What episode does he leave in?

  • @supergreatsuper Two episodes before the end of the show: Homestead.

  • @brie015 I wonder if Niomi ever left...

  • @supergreatsuper You mean Naomi Wildman?

  • @brie015 yes.

  • I wonder if niomi ever leaves

  • @supergreatsuper She was on the ship till the end of the show.

  • I don't mind Neelix that much, and I still cracked a wide grin of satisfaction when he had the life strangled out of him.

  • Your voice says go away but your heart wants you to make smile. Too bad the look in tuvok's eyes says, you had this coming for a VERY long time.

  • Tuvok: Computer, end holodeck program.

    The crowd burst into tears!

  • Now THAT'S how you do a vulcan neck pinch!

  • Terrible! It sickens me that you people should find humor in a person being killed in such a manner.......... I could have done a much better job than that, for christ's sake they're in the messhall, there has to be some cutlery lying around somewhere. Even if there isn't, there is no excuse for not downing the worthless little rodent in his boiling hot, leola root stew! Paramount studios, do that scene again and put it on youtube so we can all watch that fucksack of a chef get what he deserves.

  • @randomface54

Recreate an episode of Dexter on him.

  • THAT is officially the most popular Holodeck program EVER and had the most time on ((Even counting that time when that town was on 24/7))

  • This is without a doubt the cure to depression.

  • How is it going to hurt?

    *strangles Neelix*

    That's how.

  • GO, Tuvok, GOOOOO!!!!!!

  • Epic Win.

  • To drive Tuvok to kill him, Nelix must be the most annoying character since Jar Jar Binks.

  • @Salvatore403 I think it's the other way around....nelix inspired the creation of jar jar binks...

  • @ThePizzadawg You have a point but can you tell who's more annoying?

  • That improved crew moral.

  • Not a jury in the world would have convicted him.

  • @GrimaceGrunson Maybe for littering, remember, he left that piece of trash just lying on the floor! Least he could've done is dumped it out a airlock.

  • @GrimaceGrunson why does everyone hate neelix?

  • @keegan47401 Cause he's like a chipmunk - incessantly annoying and chipper. And also the writers kept shoehorning him into plots/events where a glorified pastry cook didn't have any reason to be. But then again, I like Jar Jar Binks, so I'm a bit of a hypocrite that way ;)

  • Wow, when his mother sang that song to him as a child, that must have been traumatic for Neelix.

  • After seeing this scene I must confess:

    Tuvok MASSIVELY gained in sympathy.

  • To be fair the Talaxian song is quite good.

  • First time I had ever seen a Vulcan pushed to the limit like that

  • I bet this Holo-program was really common.

  • @angrydead Yeah, the doctor probably prescribed this program to crew members for stress relief.
