I didn't understand the ending. He floated away because....... Wasn't that spell that Potter uses just to disarm them, which it does, but then he just floats away. Also why did the elder wand become Harry's. He said it was because he disarmed Draco but Draco wasn't holding the elder wand, potter took Draco's own wand from him?

@TheMegaChech Read the book...Voldemort's own Killing Curse reflects on himself, because the Elder Wand refuses to kill its' master. Harry was using Expelliarmus. If he was using Avada Kedavra, the beam would've been green, not red.

I don't think I'd want Jo to write another book. I mean, in the movies and the books it explains what happens 19 years later, so how would they make more? They already had their 7 years at Hogwarts and i don't think it would be close to as good as it was if they made movies/books about the children of Harry, Ron, Hermione.. Just my opinion.

@TheMegaChech Read the book...Voldemort's own Killing Curse reflects on himself, because the Elder Wand refuses to kill its' master. Harry was using Expelliarmus. If he was using Avada Kedavra, the beam would've been green, not red.

@MrBeastbo7 Well the wand never had any connection to Voldemort, it was Draco Malfoy which disarmed Dumbledore which then that owner was pasted to Draco then when Harry was dueling Draco in Draco manor and Harry disarmed Draco, even though he wasnt holding the elder wand, the owner ship was past to Harry after that, and when Voldemort tried to kill Harry with the wand, the wand recognised the owner and refused to kill him and deflected the killing spell which then killed Voldemort :)

I don't think I'd want Jo to write another book. I mean, in the movies and the books it explains what happens 19 years later, so how would they make more? They already had their 7 years at Hogwarts and i don't think it would be close to as good as it was if they made movies/books about the children of Harry, Ron, Hermione.. Just my opinion.

e_e LET ME EXPLAIN WHY THE WAND FLEW OUT OF VOLDEMORTS HANDS. Harry's key spell is EXPELLIARMUS. the DISARMING spell. you can clearly see the red glow hitting the wand which DISARMS the elder wand. AT THAT POINT HARRY IS NOT THE WANDS MASTER BECAUSE HE HAD NOT YET WON IT FROM ANOTHER WIZARD. What KNOCKED the wand his way was the spell EXPELLIARMUS because that is what it does!

@MrJ2k10 Malfoy never had the elder wand. Not once. It was in dumbledores grave until Voldemort took it. Voldemort had it up until he fought harry, he realized it didn't belong to him because it belonged to SNAPE. since SNAPE was the one that killed Dumbledore. That is why Voldemort had Nagini kill Snape, thus winning it from Snape and becoming its master. Harry never once owned or was the master of the Elder Wand until he disarmed voldemort and caught it in his hand

@BroadwayPirate1106 You're wrong. I'm gonna tell you what the book says but even Harry in the movie explains it. When Harry disarmed Draco at the Manor the Elder Wand belonged to Harry. It never belonged to Snape because, according to Harry in the book, the killing curse that Snape casted on Dumbledore was already planned by Snape and Dumbledore himself.

@OmarTheAgent And YOU sir, are wrong as well...at least a little bit. Snape was never the master of the wand because Draco beat Dumbledore first by disarming him. Essentially, removing a wand against the owner's wishes constitutes a defeat. Hence, Draco was the master for a time. Snape and Dumbledore planning it out was NOT the reason. After all, Harry didn't kill Draco, did he?

@BroadwayPirate1106 MATE you have it all wrong Snape was never the master of the elder wand, you only need to disarm a person to gain control of there wand not kill them, Malfoy dearmed Dumbledore in the Battle of the astronomy tower and then Snape killed him but Harry then disarmed malfoy in Mafoy maner but since snape killed dumbledore voldemort thought the same that snape was the master but he wasnt malfoy was.

@Azzabor harry himself was a horcux and he understodd that the only way for him to kill himself was to have voldemort do it, so when voldemort's spell hit harry voldemort went down with him too as he would when any other horcrux was destroyed, there fore harry was alive and at the end they were dueling with complete skill and no cheats like voldemort wished to have

Wrong. The real reason (which is explained in the books) is that, when Voldemort came back to physical form in the Goblet of Fire, when Wormtail took Harry's blood and inserted it in Voldy's veins, both of them obtained Lily's sacrifice for Harry. So Harry can live as long as Voldemort can, because he has the sacrifice that kept him alive since he was a baby.

@Azzabor In the book, Dumbledore tells Harry (When Harry is dead at King's Cross) that the reason that he can come back to life is because in "Goblet of Fire" Wormtail used Harry's blood to bring Voldemort back. Which, according to Dumbledore, means that there is still some of Harry in the real world hence he can go back.
