Mr Ely; We paid extra to you for advice on our free (NOT) credit report recently..We have had a privately held mortgage on the building that we bought in 2004 and paid it off in 2009 the family offered us a better rate than the bank...Your advice to us was to get some real estate type of credit on our report to improve our score??? I can produce to you every chk that was paid in five years and then discharge of mortgage etc..PLs advise as there maybe several million folks just like us out there

This is getting to be a serious issue. A student in my school got his wallet stolen a few weeks ago and started receiving credit card confirmations in the mail. He found a promo code for ID Patrol on a bloging website for a free trial and got access to his credit file. He saw seven applications for new credit cards with a credit line totaling $12,000. Good thing he was able to find them all and stop it. he's working with the police to track the thief now
