@zima5759 Excuse me? Donkey? if you're going to insult somebody over the internet at least come up with a better dig than donkey. I was merely stating that it was an unusual choice of hair and makeup for a Chanel show. So, swing.
Second half is the best.It was a long show I hope some of them actually ate during the show, shit I would be snacking liking I own this joint. :P that's just me though.
It amazes me how much Karl, or the people behind Chanel, put into every show. Its not like other brands that just do ready to wear, but Chanel does pre-fall, cruise, resort, couture, and ready to wear Even with all that they still manage to present it in such a grand way instead of just using a plain straight runway. I could only imagine the amount of time and money was put into this one show let alone all the other shows. Chanel and McQueen are the few brands who know how to put on a show.
I AM N LOVE! I have a personal attachment to Indian couture & India culture. The marriage of the "Chanel" tradition's with the Richness of India was superb. I absolutely love the views of color for the season selection, something not really seen with Chanel, yet very beautiful and clearly refined. In addition, the "usefulness" of the fabrics and designs made me feel that I would be extremely comfortable in these items & beautiful at the same time. Mr. Lagerfield, you have truly outdone yourself.
Great collection! Not too crazy for it overall, but great accessories and def had some amazing pieces! Not to mention that the runway was very different and fascinating.
I had no idea this kind of stuff was available online. I'm in tears, this is so beautiful and moving. Just watched 3x and now I'm dragging myself away to see some of the other ones - love, love, love, love, love!!
First off Mumayun Rafi I have seen some of the creations your top pakistani designer create and none of them even come close to the brilliance of Lagerfeld. Words can not describe the feeling I got when watching this show. The jewelry is beyond and out of this world. The head wraps for men are made just for me I have been sporting turbins each spring and summer for years and and love that Karl has brought them to the runway.
@christopherfogle i just say what is the point of designing european clothes with a mix of pakistani and indian twist because thats there style and thats his so he should stick to the western themes thats what he does best and yes you cannot compete with pakistani and indian because they were born there and actually know whats practical and doable all of these pieces are very costume like...brilliant try though
This is Chanel's most pretentious offering, cloaked in Largerfeld's signature extravagant settings. "Chanel, if you must 'do' the Sub-continent...Pakistan and India, for the uninformed...please come and see OUR designers. They will make your creations look like design exercises gone haywire. And we are supposed to pay Chanel prices for these?? Hah"__Humayun Rafi, Pakistan.

They look like christmas tree, but without jewellery, cekins and some hairstyle almost every piece of the show is interesting.

I think that there is a little mistake. It should be Chanel Pre-fall 2012/13 - not 2011/12.
