  • The thing that pisses me off about Youtube's copyright system is the fact that some indivduals like to flag videos for the sake of being asshurt. Not going to mention names but lets just say that one of them is essentially a hillbilly who is obsessed with Thomas the tank engine.

  • Btw how did you feel about the Grinch movie?

  • If you did it, fess up

  • Thanks for hacking Doug Walker's computer, and crashing TGWTG.com with a virus, you miserable asshole!

  • @ConstantineChernabog What the hell are you talking about?

  • @He11sing920 apparently he's claiming you crashed tgwtg.com. No idea why you would, or how he came to that conclusion, but ignore him. he's clearly trying to get top-spot because he's an attention whore... and your response made him successful.

  • DMCA's are the most flawed thing created on the internet :3

  • My biggest questions is why everyone else can use a song in their video but when i put up a vid with the same song, the audio or the video itself it taken out. It bugs me. like alot. I know none of us have the intention of copyrighting when we use music in our vids. It's just to add to the vid itself and make it more interesting. Either that or we are supporting the band/song. My latest video was removed because of copyright and i was simply showing lyrics to it cuz no one else had.

  • Copyright on youtube stems the creative flow of new media.

  • @egon303 So, are you saying that the only way to be creative in the world of new media is by stealing material from other people?

That's funny, since I am making videos that I feel are (in some small way) creative, and I don't need to run in fear of copyright infringement.

In all honestly, copyright on YouTube stems the creative flow of lazy and creatively impotent people in new media.

  • @He11sing920 No that's not what i'm saying at all. I think google's money would be better spent on a Super Google Copyright Team that help users seek out and get the legal permissions from the artist's whose material they have used. Why can't they do that? I'd pay for that service, i'm pretty sure it could work the same way as the partnership thing does on youtube.

  • @egon303 Or, prior to using material, you could try to get legal permission to do it yourself. That would be the content creator's responsibility in the first place. If they don't that, they deserve to have their video taken down.

  • @He11sing920 The all important word "try." Getting legal permission is not easy, and if google could set up a service to help users, then i do think it would be beneficial for the youtube community and the artists who were involved. Mashups, where two different tracks are mixed together to create a new sound is technically an original remix, therefore remixers fees should apply, and would if the remixers could get that illusive permission. Google could you please give us a foot in the door.

  • The same thing happed to my old account. I fucking hate Youtube copyright!

  • I managed to get this channel back from termination... false copyright claims pretty much?

  • I gave up on rant

  • This sucks a while back Cry wolf productions flagged me. they apparently own my voice

  • i cant believe it !MAKE more please!

  • Someone has recently begun false flagging irate gamer parody videos and accounts are getting suspended.

  • bottom point.

not everyone can make their own audio/visual stuff.

we bought the CD so its our CD now.

we bought the DVD so its ours now.

use both to make a video, put a simple "not mine" on it, and that should be that.

  • @karooyomitoheagato You would think it's that easy, but it's not.

Uploading that sort of thing (even with a disclaimer claiming that it isn't yours) is taking possible views and money from those companies.

There is plenty of free music and public domain movies out there, so I don't see the problem there. Maybe I am just missing something.

  • Comment removed

  • @karooyomitoheagato Nice drugs. May I have some?

  • Comment removed

  • Get this...I posted one of my yoostar videos here which yoostar allows users to post on youtube and yet they claim it violated a copyright.YOOSTAR THEMSELVES had no idea about the claim!

  • They do have a person who investigates copyrighted videos. His name is Jim, and he sits on the computer in google's boiler room 24/7 and watches the videos. He weighs 560 pounds and he is held there against his will.

  • @milkwad Good one.

  • I got my channel suspended for nothing by a motherfucking butthurt 9-11 truther who doesn't have any common decency or common sense!!

  • The problem with leaving videos up until it;s "proven" that the video has violated a copyright is by then it;s too late.

  • All fan made stuff should not be in the copyright inrifgement. Some music artists love fan made videos with their songs. I'll use "Weird Al" Yankovic for an example. He LOVES fan made music videos to his songs and has them on his official links page. Enough said, there! :)

  • c-c-c-c-comber breaker!

  • @twiztidlestat Seriously, what are you talking about? This is the second video you have posted this on, and I have no clue what you are talking about.

Not only have I never heard of this band, but I haven't been to any concert in at least five years.

  • it wasn't mostly youtube, it was conjopi threatning you, i think he's in prison now.

  • anyone who disagrees with you is a false copyright spammer

  • BOOMER!

  • I remember when this was the biggest problem ever and everyone was talking about this.

  • google made 48 accounts and disliked this

  • I wanted to watch Pokemon Videos. I can find them in Japanese, German, French, Italian, etc. But NOT ENGLISH. There was 1 video up, until that dang copyright claIm came up.

  • If i were in charge of Youtube, I would ask the other companies to give the addresses of their business computers and rig it so that only those computers can file copyright complaints. And if they want to add more computers, or a new company wants in on the copyright options, they call youtube about it.

  • yeah,i made a video about ME2 for the PS3 showing a glitch/bug w/e u wanna call it.

It might have been that i added some prodigy songs, but i don't get why that would be violating copyright,my channel is not worth anything, has no ads,it's mostly words,

I don't make money with anything on my channel on the side,i am not using it for my own profit and yet i got warned that the video was in a copyright claim and it needed to be removed.

If u make no profit of ur video's then i don't get it,

  • I like your videos dude. Keep up the good work :)

  • This comment had been removed due to a copyright claim

  • If youtube doesn't take the videos down pronto they leave themselves open to lawsuits from corporations who can hire better lawyers than any "sue happy rich person"... all the major movie and tv studios can outspend ANY individual... they could also have youtube shut down... one pissed off person cannot.

  • The 47 people who disliked this video probably don't have souls.

  • Whatever happened to your recolour rant?

  • @dragonarei Mass loss of videos from his account suspension. He kept 3 of them when he got the channel back.

  • Hey Hellsing, did you ever do a rant on the irate gamer and if so then is it still up on YT?

  • Jesus Hellsing, your videos sure do bring in the trolls...

  • How many pounds do one of your turds weigh?

  • how many heart attacks have you had now?

  • Wow... how much do you weigh sir??

  • how come videos like this get taken down, and stuff like sonic recolors stay up? it makes no sense.

  • you should sue moby dick for copyright enfringment

  • copyright trolls are responsible for unknown copyrights they do it to piss people off or want them off youtube trolls come in many forms

  • Dear He11sing.

    You > 2Gryphon.

You're much funnier and smarter then that Dr.Steel Clone!

  • @feh2 I haven no idea who 2Gryphon is, but thanks for the complement regardless.

  • Furry Ranter.

  • stop fueling the retarded troll guys lol

  • @crazycat13 I'm just trying to keep people honest, and Hellsing is violating the spirit and the letter of copyright law. Smh, just smh

  • @crazycat13 you seem pretty angry about copyright law, and you should be; people deserve to be reimbursed for their hard work. Unfortunately your anger is misdirected at me when in fact Hellsing is the one who is misappropriating other people's hard work for his own personal gain.

  • @truthteller75 man what the hell are you talking about, whos work is he steeling?

  • try answering the question "you know?" everytime he asks it...seriously...try.

  • My sentiments exactly....TT^TT Just cuz I use songs- I credit the songs- THEY HAVE A DANG CLAIM!!!!!!!!

  • Amen, one of my vids was blocked in several countries (no america) because it has Copyright mataterial, and yet its a simple music vidio like a million others.

  • where is your longbox video, i saw you with longboxes in a youtube poop

  • 3:10 no, because they don't care, and because most of us are using this website free of charge. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, and certainly don't throw money at it.

  • my channel was taken down two times

  • i think the only way youtube would actually buckle down and fix this problem is if one of their cash cows (fred, shane dawson, sxephil, ijustine etc.) got false DCMA'd and suspended. but even then, i think their solution to fixing it if it actually does happen would be removing the flag button on certain channels or something stupid like that. let's face it, we're fucked.

  • 6:56 Awesome mastery of the English language there.

  • The people charging for copyright infringement (e.g. Fox, Sega) are in much better positions to sue Youtube than the average youtuber is, who can do nothing at all.

  • I have a very good friend that happend to this!!! His name is: Kakashi465. Some idiot had false copyright claims of his stuff. BUT THE GUY HAS NO VIDEOS! But you know what? Google doesnt HELP OUT AT ALL!

  • They just want to take down the good, honest videos so they can force onto viewers their supposedly "popular" videos that have the ads and generate money for the website.

  • Oh what the hell I think so!

    I'm gonna fav this video!

    Good job hellsing!

  • *facepalm*

Truthteller is an obvious troll. Please stop feeding him.

  • Speaking of this, some of my favorites were pulled because it was blocked by another company and a few of them were marked as private and they don't explain why.

  • Comment removed

  • @truthteller75 It is allowed to use it for non commercial purposes if it's less than 30 seconds.

  • @truthteller75

    obvious troll is obvious.

  • @firetamer102 And trademark owners also believe that universality is a more jurisprudent then territoriality.

Since youtube is a wholly owned subsidiary of google, all videos are subject to commercial scrutiny for copyright. Videos would be subject to these same guidelines on any website that displays them under a corporate heading. Therefore any use of copyrighted material on such a site would be an explicit violation of copyright without the express permission of the IP holder.

  • Fuck false flagging!

  • I wonder if the schmuck who filed a copyright claim against your recent update video did so in response to this video just to be an asshole.

  • Youtube is run by a bunch of idiots, ive seen trailers getting their sound cut off becuase of copyright protection.

  • in my meeting weird al video,i used smells like nirvana but gave credit to al but sony still pulled my video down.

  • Hey He11sing920, I have a question. Just like Google is too lazy to check copyright claims, most of us users do not take the time to read their terms of service. Is it possible that Google would have any right to take down videos without investigation just by listing it under the terms of service? Would that mean that they could get away with that in court?

  • Well, Google and Youtube beat Viacom in court just recently. Maybe we won't have to deal with this drama anymore.

  • The only major company I've never heard of taking down videos is Nintendo. Of course, I'm sure they have and I just haven't seen it.

  • i just hate that they take your music off cuse you didn't say it wasn't yours.i mean

thats just stupid they know its not your so why do that!

  • Don't mean to sound like an ass, but it's 6.52 billion not 6.520 billion. =P

  • @Kittygoboom11 Those two numbers are exactly the same.

  • @ETPlayer100 I said it like that because that's how scientific notation works, i:e it- screw it google scientific notation.

  • You're stupid, Sir Dumbolot5!

    Hardy-FREAKIN-Har.

    OWNED, BUDDY!

  • @Worldpeacekid How? You called me stupid and laughed. If maybe you didn't skip algebra, then you'd know what I ment.

  • @Worldpeacekid Who are you talking to?

  • i think the only way youtube would do something about this is if all the popular youtubers (fred, sxephil, shane dawson etc.) got pulled. but i doubt that'll ever happen

  • I got a video taken down by Screwattack. It's just the website James Rolfe posts his videos on. There Internet commies as well. Fuck Screwattack!!!!!. The AVGN is a legend. He need to go on a different website.

  • @HBKanedge818 same thing heare

  • I feel like random bogus companies just throw darts at a list with random innocent video's names on them and take down whatever video the dart hits.

That's how bizarre the Copyright claims seem.

  • you know whats more gay youtubes music copyright thats bull who wants to see a video with no sound youtube fix your shit up

  • hey fatass, here's an idea: why don't you produce your own content rather than riding on the backs of successful people and steal their work.

  • @truthteller75 How am I stealing other people's work? Every video I have ever made is all my own content. This video wasn't about my situation. It was about what's been happening to other people.

Speaking of that, whether or not I make my own content has nothing to do with this video. This video was about people who make their own stuff and end up having it wrongfully taken down for some bogus copyright claim.

Care to try that comment again, pal? Maybe with some actual thought in it?

  • @truthteller75

Instead of accusing He11sing of stealing stuff, which he hasn't, you could listen to his message on why YouTube is horrible with copyright issues. Or not, you have freewill.

  • @He11sing920 and he never did comment again did he?

  • @truthteller75 first i would like to ask WTF i have ever said to you?

  • @He11sing920 Its kind of ironic that he's lying about you stealing other peoples work and his username is truthteller75 >_>

  • @He11sing920 6 videos of mine that use music by some bands are blocked in some places but those people said it's allowed to be used as long as we arent making money off it. What should I do?

  • @truthteller75 Wow...your name is quite interesting. Tell me, does telling truth mean spewing bullshit?

  • @truthteller75

Hey Fuckhead, here's an idea: Shut the fuck up.

  • @truthteller75 you sir have failed beyond an incomprehensibly enormous amount. the amount of fail you produced has caused the collective amount of win in this internet to drop beyond any level of repair. I hope you're happy.

  • @truthteller75 Pwned.

  • @truthteller75 Fail-Troll

  • @truthteller75 Unsuccessful troll is unsuccessful!

  • @truthteller75 ur a fucking troll. eat shit, suck dick, and die

  • @truthteller75 Wow, you should really consider picking on someone your own size and IQ retard.

  • @truthteller75 ur a dummass what did he use that was copyrighted?

  • @truthteller75 Im still wondering...What the hell did he steal? Get some type of intelligence before you waste others time.

  • @TheTestUrMightGamer opening song idiot. Read mine and dpaddestroyer69's comments below to answer the next stupid thing thing you're going to say.

  • @truthteller75 Ah so a opening song is now stealing? then just tell him to give credit moron instead of bashing him.

  • @truthteller75 OH GOD the irony within ur name

  • @truthteller75

Your troll-fu is weak, young asshopper.

  • @truthteller75 hey dont make fun of hellsing! hes lost some weight, hes down to 700lbs now!

  • he11sing920 im totally doing it pro

  • Oh lets not forget you are an amateur and a hobbyist, if you're not you're basically saying there's nothing you'd actually like to do. Don't you wish you got your fair share of profit for your talent? If I were you I'd feel more exploited than all the NCAA sweat-for-cheers players combined.

  • @MultiUniv3rsal Okay. But whether I'm a million dollar recording studio or a group playing out of a garage, people aren't going to want to pay for what they can copy for free. There is probably no way to stop that, ever. Where is my profit? Why bother getting a degree in anything that deals with digital media?

  • @chaosmaster07 People used to play concerts for prices that were agreeable and they filled stadiums and made piles and piles of money. You can't bootleg the real thing, sir.

If they don't think that they're getting enough money like that, I don't think anyone owes them what they can't come up with themselves.

Sorry if it seems all radical and upside-down to you, but remember where it all goes. Producers take more money from the musicians than the actual people who create the music.

  • Guess what hellsing. The whole thing is just a ruse. All of my favorites seem to never get pulled, because they're usually poignant lectures and interesting things to hear.

The people who are getting their shit pulled down are getting it done because they wage obsessive flame wars and try to hide behind the law. You recorded, into history, 7 minutes and 51 seconds of a speck of sand.

  • The big corporations probably hate YT for allowing people to post copyrighted material with little or no consequence...so now they're ass raping us for every little thing (or non-thing). Its kind of funny as many (most?) youtubers have no respect for copyrights anyway, but two wrongs don't make a right.

  • @chaosmaster07 why would anyone have respect for copyrights on things that can be digitally cloned? The whole thing needs to get reworked. Ever since the vinyl record fell to the cassette tape music, movies, games, whatnot have been claimed by the thinking public who I believe are entitled to what lies on the ground, or takes no effort to reproduce.

  • @MultiUniv3rsal If everyone pirated everything, then there wouldn't be many worthwhile things to pirate. Why would anyone waste their time in an industry where you can't earn a living? It isn't reasonable to expect million dollar budget premium media to be given away for free. If media creators have to face hell just to get a fair paycheck, what's stopping the future of digital media from being devoid of everyone except amateurs and hobbyists?

  • @chaosmaster07 It's called patronage. I could care less if Universal Studios or went belly up tomorrow and 20,000 or so self-absorbed people in LA had to do something real with their lives. No one was bitching when they exported every other job in America. If your consumers outsmart you then to hell with you.

Maybe if we stopped babying the business status quo in this country we could stop falling behind in every respect and have to draw from our own innovations.

    Fuck Managerial Aristocracy.

  • @chaosmaster07 Here's another thing. Big budget media is a vampire that promises everything and delivers us back our dreams in chewed up bits.

By far the most well mastered music of our day is made by either orchestras, or people who work at Arby's 40 hours a week.

What I believe is that the ones on top are trying to tell consumers what they want and not the other way around. On top of that our ecumenical culture does everything by consensus, which makes censorship the king.

  • Equality before the law apperantly doesn't exist on YouTube since Google actually investigates flaged partner videos, but they pull down regular user videos without watching a milisecond of the video.

  • @JakeLL LisaNova's a YT Celeb and a Partner. Partners are ban-proof.

  • You clearly don't understand the logistics of what you're suggesting. Okay, Google won't waste money hiring people if they think their system works already. Millions of videos get put on YT A DAY. Do you really expect a select amount of people to go through those thousands of videos that have copyright claims, investigate the user, and those involved, then deny the claim? No. They aren't lazy, it's a business practice. They dont want to risk being sued and losing money, so they play it safe.

  • You shouldn't be pissed off about your channel being suspended by 20th Century Fox, because @ least I terminated the piece of shit that did it to you.

  • Dude, the thing is... it's the internet... youtube is just a website. It has no importance in life. And this is why it happens. Because youtube dosnt care. I dont see why anyone cares but to each their own. But the main point it this. youtube is only a website, and they are a billion dollar company.... Why should they care about a few people that get pulled off? They still got the money and that all they want. But in the long run who cares.. Its just the internet.

  • 5:42 Yeah. That's the one it be really get on my nerves.

  • I agree with all this... Why is youtube being a lazy *** when it comes to copyright? I think it's because they don't want to "waste" money according to my knowladge of companies (which is moderatly poor since the only company that I know alot about is Disney but that's because I hate Disney).

  • damn right!

  • join the pirate party stop the copyrights all together

  • This is incredibly true. My first youtube channel was removed because of the bullshit 'copyright' claim. You can clearly state that you mean no harm and its kinda like free advertising for what ever purposes. How do they possibly know that you could have already paid royalty, if there really needs to be a royalty involved? Bah, youtube is gonna loose its users to Veoh and other popular video sites cause of it

  • I think I know who's behind all these false copywrite claims and people getting their channels closed. Actually I'm almost positive about who's behind all these closings and sending of false claims.

  • @nonamerequired123 Really? Then who do you think it is? You can take this to PMs if you want.

  • @WatcherCCG

It's better on PM, that's why I didn't say the name here. Just wanted to get it out there for anyone affected who might be interested in finding out who the culprit is. I'm 99.9% certain, and I found out by complete accident.

It's alot bigger than anyone realizes.

  • Why is their dirt on your upper lip? Do you not wash your face?

  • @jackbandit22 Its called a mustache -_-

  • @AvatarKT4 A few wispy strands of hair upon one's upper lip do not a mustache make. Kid looks like he just went down on a guy and came back up with a few pubes around his mouth.

  • @jackbandit22 Well i'll leave you to think that.

  • Amen!! I got hit with a completely bogus copyright claim suggested that I used infringing audio in my video when all I can see I did was put a company name in the tags. How is that infringing?! And the stupid part is I can't get rid of it!

  • YouTube has gone to hell in the past months and it keeps getting worse. Nice "rant" here but I doubt it will change anything but there's always hope I guess.

  • I know a website that is a Google survey on the new YouTube, and this is a valid topic. The website is in the description of a video called "YouTube Rant" by WiiRikeToPray.

  • @xam3000hehe i hate the trollz

  • and it's only getting worse. so far the casualties include randomdce, bigal, lillylivers, tarosan, darkscream, aikoarisaka, darkness and boomstick closed their accounts before they could get to them. and these are the only ones i know of. the only ones who are safe are hellsing and justkeepthatinmind. this has to be some massive conspiracy. something's gotta be done.

  • this happend to me and i had to remake a new account

  • my brother nearly got banned! DAMN YOUTUBE YOU SUCK!!

  • this is yet another why i'm concidering leaving youtube things got too wacky now with this website from what this guy explained in the video to the overcommerialzation if there are better alternatives please let me know

  • Yeah,I'm sad he's Gone along wih DCE...

  • And 3 weeks later, Viacom tries to sue Youtube...

  • lol @ 3:35

  • Pfft, it's only a matter of time before I get every single video of mine removed by Capcom or Turner Entertainment. Great. YouTube is getting worse by the minute.

  • TheSaneRevelation could be next on Youtube's "ban without reviewing properly" list. It sucks to have RandomDCE (Hating him because of his "Mehtendo" rant and not subscribing to him because of that was a bad idea), lilyliver, and BigAl gone for no reason. It would especially suck if TheSaneRevelation were to get banned for no reason as well, since I'm actually subscribed to him. Here's to hoping Youtube spares him.

  • @marioluigi1983 Also want to add that he lost a video due to copyright claim by ScrewAttack, which I have seen none of.

  • @marioluigi1983 On top of that, he isn't the only person in danger of unfair suspension. Kwing, TehAnimatedGamer, BLACKbustercritic, and TheSockDetective could also get unfairly suspended as well.

  • @marioluigi1983 And before anyone say that "He11sing920 is fine because he is a Youtube Partner", wrong. JamesNintendoNerd was suspended for about a day and he is a Youtube Partner, proving that no one is safe.
