  • Is another amazing movie too :)

  • "The day we stop lookin Charlie is the day we die"

  • Al pacino is just awesome

and this is one of his best movies

  • Best movie I have ever seen......

  • just amazing !!!!!!!

  • scent of women ..scent of life

  • to one day find a man like Pacino (in the film) and dance a tango, will make my day!!...

  • Make your day?!?!

Wow! You must already have some incredible life my dear, for it to 'only' make your *day*!!

....to one day be able to dance a tango like this, with SUCH PASSION & flair, with ANY girl, will CERTAINLY make MY day!!

Be she big, small, old, young, drop-dead-gorgeous, or not, doesn't matter....all women have a beauty...especially when they smile....when they smile.....U can see such *real* beauty... :)

  • aaaaa women.. we live for them.. and hope the other world exsit just to be with them again..

  • really nice comm.. :)

PS: the "other world" exists.. but i don't know if we'll all be there :)

  • thank you

  • Pablui, thanks for the translation - very poetic.

"Coquetta" is obviously where we get the English noun "coquette" and the adjective "coquettish" from.

  • superb scene form a brilliant movie --as an ex-soldier who dances a lot, including tango, I loved this. Equally good is the scene where he rips the snotty college and explains integrity and honour to them.

I understand Pacino spent a bit of time artificially "blind" to get into role.

  • Vero, scena meravigliosa !!! Ciao da Roma

  • My god, Pacino is actually the greatest thing ever.

  • that's true :)

  • HOOOOOO HAAAAA BOYS ALIVE

  • HOOOOOO HAAAAA BOYS ALIVE

  • BRAVO!

  • this music and this movie you can see how perfect life can be even whit some bad things between.

  • Esta es la mejor escena que haya visto en mi vida donde se mezcle el baile con la pasion, Al PACINO ES INCREIBLE

  • Beautiful and emotional scene from a great movie performed by the one and only one... Al Pacino. No wonder he won his Oscar with this movie.

  • al pacino number 1

  • Even if I watch this scene 1000 I'll still get emotional. The scene is absolutely brilliant. Al Pacino is the embodiment of confidence and charm.... the little laughs of the woman show the hidden excitement of the moment and.... the asshole in the end (Mike) shows how dull relationships can get.... Adios.

  • @alexsamuraiuuu

    "Darryl & Carroll....yeah..."

  • brilliant scene

  • Hoo Haaa!!!

  • great movie great actor great everything but... why he is so nice and generous with people like the prostitute and this girl he dances with, but with his family is such and assssssssss?

  • because we test them.... and family is the only thing in this world which we have one tru right to test. To throw tantrums, cause anyone else won't tolerate them. Which is why we love our family the most. Pronto.

  • watch?v=AGrDh5OLS-M watch this is the song of the movie "por una cabeza" by carlos gardel in 1932

  • Classic!

  • The one & only..... Al PAcino.

  • Beautiful music, too!

  • The greatest scene of Scent of a woman, that is a well film.

  • Al

    you stud

  • remember this tango? True lies....Arnold schwarzenegger..Jamie Lee Curtus...

  • some people live a life time in a minute.

  • Cool.

  • Remake of Profumo di donna (1974) with Vittorio Gassman

  • wowwowowow, i have to watch this movie.

  • yeah its movie of the month in amc check there for the movie its channel 51 in canada

  • what can u say.....there's only one Al PACINO

  • Dance with me anytime Al!

  • Gabrielle Anwar very sexy.. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr that Alpacino is surely a lucky BASS to have danced and held her in his arms...

  • I love Al he's just damn sexy ... Even though he's really old right now xD

  • The words "Losing by a head of a noble horse

who slackens just down the stretch", they mean a horse race that was lost by little, but as the hole song, it refers to a flirtatious woman (maybe an easy woman) that leaves the author and tells him that he shouldn't believe on her and try to forget her, but every time he sees such a beauty he bets on it again

  • Hello Pablui,

Thanks very much for your explaination! makes me laugh, it reveiled such a simple truth: people are easily fell by physical appearence and playful flirtations. It is sad, but so true....

  • what's love? Is love supposed to be short-lived? Would you dance with a flirtatious and cheerful woman for 5 minutes of your life, or live in a simple life with an ordianry girl? It's a choice, people take chances, and 'some people live in a life time in a minute'. A charming tango, and beautiful music. Thanks for sharing!

(ps:do you still listen to this song when you walk some blocks on your way to Caminito?)

  • LAME DUDE, Das weak dude

  • flyby asshole if u gonna say something lame about it dont post a comment then asshole al pacino's only been learning tango for 2 months i dont mean to be a name dropper but thats a fact

  • The tango is called By The Head of a Horse, it says: "Losing by a head of a noble horse who slackens just down the stretch and when it comes back it seems to say: don't forget brother, You know, you shouldn't bet. Losing by a head, instant violent love of that flirtatious and cheerful woman who, swearing with a smile a love she's lying about, burns in a blaze all my love".
  • Yes kong001122 !! This poetry is the lyric from the tango that sounds while they dance, little sad but also deep, a song that I used to hear very often walking some blocks on my way to Caminito, Buenos Aires.

On top I wrote: Beautiful as every woman that inspires a compositor, who writes a tango only thinking on the moment he'll dance it with her.

  • Robin's helping Michael Corleone, love that.

  • And Michael? What a dweeb. He is a mismatch for lovely Donna, I bet!

  • Hello Pablui, could you please translate poetry? It sounds so musical, I would like to know what it means.

    Thank you

  • One of the best film scenes ever...

    When a blind man dances...

    Real poetry!

  • this is one of the pimpest scenes Al Pacino has ever done

  • Melt

    Tango on lovers

  • Gracias tango!!! Gracias Argentina!!

  • al pacino, one of my 3 favourite actors! the beauty of his role in this movie is that, despite the fact he likes to make people think he's a complete jerk, that uses kind'a dirty language, he actualy is very profound, sensitive inside. a true gentleman. the tango scene is one of the most delicate, romantic and passionate scene in a movie.

and charlie is a cutie too, i'd like to have a friend like him. (blush) lol!

  • and I thought I was the only one who cries while watching this scene haha yess I do think this scene is one of the best scenes in Scent of a Woman !!

  • The absolute best scene of the movie! Because of this scene, my father wants me to learn the Tango! Don't think I can do it quite like Frank!!!

  • What does chestnut hair mean ?

  • It's a shade of brown.

  • One of the two best scenes in the film.

  • This scene makes me cry... it´s so beautiful...

  • This great movie with this great Al Pacin!I simply love this movie.

  • frank's such a smooth talker! lolz ;D

  • al's the man

  • God I would re-mortgage my house to pay to tango with Frank!

  • inanılmaazzzz!!!

  • so seductive!

  • Beautiful lady....impressive music & tango~!!

  • I too love that whole scene; the dancing was incredible. I wonder, did they really do it? Anyway, you know how there are times when you hear a certain piece of musc that automatically reminds you of certain situations? Well the music in the tango scene did that to me. It was my favorite scene and every time I hear that piece it brings me back.

  • I have a question...what is the name of the song playing at 00.40? They are walking down the stairs and Al Pacino is saying Perambulate? Thank you!!

  • the name of the song is Por Una Cabeza

  • Por Una Cabeza is...? At 40 seconds into the movie, I believe it is a different song. Do you happen to know the title?

    Robert

    Robersabel at aol com

  • Superb !

  • Sin duda la mejor actuacion de Pacino, la mejor frase en la historia del cine "A veces vives tu vida en un instante", y toda la escena en si es simplemente increible

  • que linda sale gabrielle en esa película por favor...

    que mujer...

  • Favori filmim...

  • WHOO-BINGO!

  • It`s classical, as Gene Kelly Singing on the rain.

  • artistically the song por una cabeza is a great complement to Frank's character - all is hopeless on that one bet - just as what the song is about

  • the best pick up line from a pick up artist!

  • That's definetely one of the masterpiece's scene of all movies ever !!!

  • The Best Movie Ever..deserved the OSKAR
