There are a few videos out there on youtube of Telegraph road solo, some good, some bad..... but your version not only was technically perfect (Alchemy vers) but you nailded the tone spot on!

Right choice of pickups, amp settings and the delay and reverbs too!

thats because those are imitations of the real sound if you want mark knopflers sound, you should first think of the pickups he has in his sig guitar there are texas specials but in the alchemy version he used a schechter guitar further more a digitech is not a real pedal just one for fun I would suggest to buy a pedal for each sound you want. It's more expensive but thats the way to get closer to the sound. Plus Mark knopflers sound is all in the fingers. hope this helped you =)

you're crazy mate, some of knopfler's performances are way better than album versions

listen to alchemy and then compare to the albums, you'll get what i mean
