How Obama got elected is simple. After 8 years of failure, We all came out and voted for change. A change from fascist ways to democratic socialist ways. The bailout was deemed necessary by many, and they need to control things a bit because the individuals who run the companies screw everything up and then run off with huge bonuses.

The "mainstream media" are the same people who lulled America to sleep while Dick Cheney engineered this disastrous war. They are also the same people who dismiss progressive candidates like Dennis Kucinich and Cynthia McKinney. To top it all off, this is the same media that talked all day about Obama's affiliations, while downplaying the mountain of skeletons in McCain's closet. So if you are trying to suggest that the media has a liberal bias, or even just an Obama bias, you are mistaken.

Well I can do that too, right after New Orleans liberals have the most violent states from 2nd place all the way to 14th. Red States are 83% more likely to pay their taxes then a blue state. The murder rate in red States is 3.1 compared to a blue states 13.7. Blue has the poverty stricken city in the US ( D.C ) What party is it that gives more to charity? Conservatives by a 33% margin. Gee, I thought the democrats said they were the ones for the poor...
