I used to feel embarrassed about it, but then I realized that ESPN just threw poor Dave O'Brien into these broadcasts without him having ever done a soccer broadcast. He had absolutely no idea what was going on, which explains a lot about the misuse of terms, strategies and overall lack of quality. O'Brien is a great college basketball broadcaster and an even better baseball guy. I just feel bad for him.
