I can never find the full system, though. I've searched great stretches of the internet, and the most I can find is the SNES by itself with controllers and some other games. I can't find the SNES with the audio/video and power cords...
If you live by a big city, there are probably video game stores (non chain, not like Gamestop) that sell older games. I was pleasantly surprised when I found this out.
Search "video games [city you live in or major city near you]" in Google Maps. Call the stores that aren't Gamestop and ask. You might be in for a surprise.
And again. try craigslist
There are always SNES on half(dot)com and ebay, I don't know what you're talking about. but I'd much rather get it not over the internet.
That looks good for the first time playing or even any time. Making an occasional mistake is perfectly natural; you don't have to be some sort of gaming god to make a good video. Being a fairly decent player with a couple of slipups here or there is all well and good.
This was my first day playing the game and I only record the videos for a short glimpse of what the game is like. But yes, I'll agree... I didn't do the greatest.
Well, I guess I was not very fair with my comment. Contra is a hard game and takes a while to get good at. If I knew it was your first time playing I would not have said that.

Holy shit! I used to LOVE playing this game. I still have the cartridge for it, but my damn SNES burned out years ago :(
