the benin language is similar to the ugandan and the people have similar features. i have also heard that most people from west africa originated from east afrika but they had 2migrate. the history of tribal marking also relates to adapting to environmental changes such as to maintain the level of oxygen in the body among other reasons. does any1 agree or have further info on this?
Loved your videos. It gives me an even deeper understanding of my daughter's two year stay in Togo, right next door. She spoke fondly of her Peace Corps friends in Benin. Thanks for the insight!
I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Benin from 2000 to 2002. These videos bring back so many memories. I show them to friends when they want to know what Peace Corps was like.

Nice! I did a report on Benin in elementary and had forgotten much of what I learned. Dang! That is definitely a TRANSPORTATION ONLY car! lol. Love the kings wardrobe changes.. Where is the husband? I only see two women on screen? Eating out part was hilarious! Chez mama, I was totally expecting some tiny restaurant! haha.
It is so cool to see this! i do know Guinagourou and seing these images from this far is refreshing. You were lucky to eat choukourou again! anyhow,..looks like you were working on agroforestry or plant conservation!?
