I use my rip stik for transportation more than anything, I used to skate but I thought it was boring because you could only ride it on a straight or if you hit a hill you couldn't really slow down properly without having to jump off. I like ripstik's more, because I snowboard, and the carving technique is very similar to that of a snowboard, and you can go up hill as well as straighht and down, and you can slow down on a downhilll by carving. And the handling is so much better :)

not always. body varial is when you do (what the guy in the video demonstrated). its combined with other tricks. like bigspins, disco flips, kickflip sex change etc. so ur not "supposed" to flip to do a sex change.
