i installed blackrain and cydia etc buyt my gps crashed

everything else worked fine tried installing pushfix and then pushfixandyoutube but nothing still no gps only

i have freshly restored 3.1.2 and 05 11 07

so will this work 100 percent no bugs

also i have a vodafone prepaid sim and applestore unlocked it

do i need to unlock

when i did this before i didnt unlock but still had reception etc and could make calls

i tried the same method over and over again.. iphone 3gs 3 days old.. everythime it says jailbreak done, wait for reboot, after the geohot wallpaper vanished, the iphone turns off and itunes says it needs to be recovered..

i tried holdin the home button, i tried holding the home and on/off button, nothin happens unless i recover it all over again.. sigh

I had the same issue. The fix for me was to jailbreak on a Windows XP Service Pack 2 computer. Vista doesn't seem to like Blackra1n.

right click on blackra1n, go to compatibility settings, then set it to run on windows xp mode, and check run as administrator, it should work now. however i did mine on windows 7

ok well nishchey, are you using an iphone or ipod touch, if so what gen is it? also what os are you using? did you run blackra1n of your desktop or off your usb? it should work when you just click on blacra1n when your ipod or iphone is connected. does it say entering recovery? does it do all the processes? please reply

if it doesn't show up you should press and hold HOME and POWER button when you press 'make it rain'. and then let go of the power button when the geohot logo comes up.

it will come happened to me too.. jst back up ur iphone just in case.
