@hamilton302 Yup. It sure is. =P I wonder if there could be a fight between Allosaurus against Acrocanthosaurus. That would totally be an interesting fight! =D
@natesdevices I know its larger, but being robust to its own account is hard to agree with since its vertebraes were high and would be easy to break since they are not very strong. Its skeleton structure was light to make it more efficient on taking calories and faster, but causes a problem. But I would think Acrocanthosaurus would win ultimately due to its jaw structure and VERY powerful arms it had. According to Ken Carpenter, it could lift one ton with one arm even with limited motion. o-0

@Mr1995wm stupid son of a bitch! the only reason t-rex lived for 3 million years is because of the catastrophe that killed all the dinosaurs. i'm pretty sure that if giga lived 65 million years ago, it wouldn't have survived the catastrophe either......DUH!
the carcharodontosaurids are lager than tyrannosaurids including carcharodontosaurus and giganotosaurus, why does everyone thinks that t-rex can defeat all theropods?fucking nunsense it doesn't mean that t-rex has bone crushing teeth that he may win NO, giga and carcha r very robust with powerful arms and jaws, there jaws are design to slash very deep in there prey just like a great white shark does, and they were probably powerful enought to slash thru bone not quite to crush like rex
@Mr1995wm Well Allosaurus being 35 feet long had a bite force less powerfull than a modern lion... Giga and Carcha were pretty much like Allo so they may had a bite force not nearly as strong as Tyranosaurs... The reason why many paleontologist believe that T-rex would win a match against other big theropods is because it was extremely advanced for it's time...
@thegreat1pr that is simply because of the different bite approach of the allosaurus because instead of crushing it opens it's jaw wider and slices it's opponent with razor sharp teeth thus you can not make the comparison it is like comparing a war hammer and a sword
@Mr1995wm actually t-rex would probably win as long as it has eaten before ever a hatchling could as long as it ate. if you think i r retard listen to this when t rex ate it has little holes in it which capture blood that rots and gets viruses such as bacteria. so when they bite into another animal or dino it could potentially kill them over time anyways and as a young archaeologist ( under 16 ) i am still learning so i am not sure if my idea is full proof
@Mr1995wm Giga's arms weren't even useful in a combat situation with another predator. Secondly, they were slightly longer than T-Rex's but in all theory the most complete skeleton of a Giga was the same size as T-Rex. To be honest, Giga and Carch were not robust, their jaws were weak and could not withstand powerful pressures unlike T-Rex. By far, T-Rex as undoubtedly wins this fight because it is so advanced compared to Giga and Carch, so there is no point of arguing when scientists say so.
@Mr1995wm T. Rex teeth have been found in Sue's vertebrae, which have healed, indicating she survived an attack from another tyrannosaurus. These dinosaurs had incredible durability. Furthermore, they probably got bigger than Sue, because most of them were killed off by other dinosaurs before they reached their full size.
Advantages: Slightly larger size, slender and faster body design. They have larger arms though they aren't large enough to inflict serious damage, and they're placed below its neck so it's hard to tell how useful it's arms could be.
Disadvantages: Eyes placed on its side, much weaker bite force.

No, infact they were very different from each other, Giga was bigger and faster and had largers arms, but T-rex had far more powerful jaws, bigger brain, so I'd say T-rex wins.
Rex: stronger bite, bone crushing teeth, intelligence, eye sight, more compact build, solid built skull, it was the last large carnivore suggesting that it was the most advanced/evolved
Gigan: Taller and longer, maybe faster, teeth for slicing.
T-Rex wins it was designed for fighting whereas giganotosaurus would have bitten a sauropod and wait for blood loss.

@JiS01 well actually, the tiger is proven to be the superior predator between the two, but if u change the rex to the tiger and the gigananosaurus to the lion ud be wright.
@natesdevices I disagree with that statement due to the fact if there was an overall death match between tiger and lion, a lion would win due to superiority of strength in its powerful paw swipes it makes and strong bite force it has. After all, the Lion is called the King of the Jungle for a reason.
the smartest animal always wins and we are living breathing proof of that we have shit defense no claws pathetic teeth but we are firmly atop the food chain smartest animal always wins t-rex was the most intelligent of the large therapods t-rex wins unless faced with a roving pack of raptors those things are smart quick , armed with nasty weaponry and they can conspire against you
@bigjavo36 Actually, that's incorrect about the raptors. I understand intelligence is a definite key, but as a top predator, size is a huge factor of being the top predator. T-Rex faced off against Dromeosaurus n Troodon which were much bigger than the Velociraptor and equipped with the same talents. By size, T-Rex is the king of all predatory dinos due to his size is a huge deterrence against very smaller predators like Dromeosaurids. They have no chance against such a huge beast like T-Rex.
guys listen giga is faster and trex is smarter but the 2 dinos lived thousands of miles away from each other and would probably never have fought with each other
hey lets all just agree all three dinosuars kick ass we shouldnt be fighting each other we should be mad at people who think dinosaurs looked sounded and acted more like birds than reptiles cause that theory is shit
you guyz need to get off this spino kick.....im sick of hearing about a dino that hollywood made famous....he is in one movie and suddenly he is the most badass thing out there. No matter how big spino is that dosent mean he can fight...gig and rex fought daily for territory, food and mating rights.but i bet spino can catch the hell out of some fish.he was to big for his own good,he couldnt hang with the rex family or gigs
gigantosaurus was a great deal bigger then t rex how ever t rex was probably (in my opinion at least) the better predator since t rex was 1 faster and 2 smarther then gigantosaurs
@MrBladeoa Not really. Giga wasn't that big compared to T-Rex. It was only about 3 to MAYBE 6 feet longer than T-Rex. Giga's intelligence was not very high either, which was why evolution never gave it such an amazing thinking power, hence why T-Rex got the bigger brainpower. As well, T-Rex would n could overpower Giga with one single bite. His biteforce is tremendous and would dominate Giga in a fight.
@MrTobyCure How big would that make giga then? Isn't there a t rex which is supposedly 45 ft long? Also you seem to be assuming that giga wouldn't bite t rex. T rexes bite is more powerful but gigas can be just as deadly.
@sergeidebrovski The most complete skeleton of a Giga was about 43 ft long compared to T-Rex Sue who is the most complete T-Rex skeleton. Sue was about 42 ft long. Not much of a huge difference.
Estimates to T-Rex's bite force compared to Giga's is a huge factor. T-Rex exerts 50,000 newtons compared to Giga's 30,000 newtons. So no, Giga's bite is not as deadly as T-Rex's. I never said Giga couldn't bite back at T-Rex, but one single bite from T-Rex is game over for Giga.
@sergeidebrovski There are pieces of T-Rex typically a certain one that was found that was estimated 2 be 45 ft long, but there is no proof of that due 2 the fact the whole skeleton hasn't been found. All we know is that T-Rex died young, its oldest age was about 30 yrs at least. T-Rex had a much harder life than Giga, which I'm sure Giga lived a little longer than T-Rex. Hell, Sue only lived 2 be 30 yrs old before she died! That's considered 2 be quite young. We are sure they could live longer.
@sergeidebrovski All predators are efficient, both have different prey which was why they were suited for different reasons. Giga's meat-slicing teeth were very efficient at killing sauropods, which took quite a long time but due to the fact they're prey was HUGE, they could waste the energy to do so and continue to hunt the giants.
T-Rex on the other hand had smaller prey, which meant he could not waste his energy on making long hunts. He had to make it a quick and deadly kill. Which is why it
@sergeidebrovski gigantic railroad spike teeth that would pulverize bone and anything that came in contact. T-Rex's was suited to hunt smaller but very well-defended prey! It had to face harder prey than Giga, so it had to be very robust predator to take hits from its prey and its own species. Giga was robust, but definitely not as robust as T-Rex, hence why T-Rex could take more punishment than Giga and hence why it could win in the fight between the two. Its just another proving factor.
The thing about all those comparisons is, that you can't compare creatures living in different times (in this case it's 30 mil. years difference). It's like comparing todays cougar with a sabertooth. This should be only in stupid videogames for 8 years old.
i read a book saying giga is bigger but t rex is stronger with better jaws and also they are related like 15% but i think they would both win xD both rip eachothers head off at same time
@NickVarney12345 actually the T-Rex is highly more intelligent then giga, also with the gift of depth perception (which giga really didnt have much because of the ridges in its snout) and finally over 40,000 pounds of pressure per square INCH in those goddamn jaws...yeah..T-Rex wins..
Giganotosaurus could never defeat Tyrannosaurus Rex, Tyrannosaurus Rex had a bigger brain, better eye version and a much stronger bite force than Giganotosaurus had, Giganotosaurus will never be crowned king.
What are you 5? Get away from the key board, facts are facts... an No i don't understand, but instead of cursing over the internet like a baby as yourself, do me, your family, an yourself a favor an take a needle, pull it back an inject air right into your neck an end your own life.
Just helpful advice from one person to another, tell your parent's they can send me a thank you card in the mail, anyone that acts so immaturely over a comment doesn't deserve to live.
@TheDaspleto wtf?.....are you actually...swearing in a dinosaur tribute area? grow up -_- T-rex has one of the largest bite strengths in the history of the world, literally the deadliest walking creature to ever live on land (even in brain comparison, the T-Rex was more highly intelligent then the giga, as well of having depth perception and great power) face it chump, you lost. Your probably one of the dumbasses who saw jurassic park 3 and thought the spino was a badass XD loser
@likes4Fun lol...another Jurassic park 3 dumbass...spino is just afish hunter, it cant even GRAB something that strong, since their teeth is hollow, while the T-Rex's pure 40,000 psi bite just ripes shit apart (another flaw in JP...sad)
in my opinion , carcharodontosaurids are the best predators , but .., all persons have opinions , some ones tell about " T REX IS BEST THAN GIGA AAAAA" or" GIGA WAS THE KING AAAA" that persons are so stupid , giganotosaurus is my favorite dinosaur ,but t rex is cool to . i know my english is bad , good video
@tururuanthony hmm... spinosauridae is my favorite family, with spinosaurus being one of my favorite dinos, and noone knows for sure what the spinos really ate, so everything people say about it is just an opinion. for all we know, spinos could have ate meat instead of fish, or fish or both.
@Caponehusky1995 i think spinosaurids would eat fish and meat , and i think spinosaurus its not the biggest carnivorous dinosaur i think someday someone will find a giant monster , some like a giant giganotosauurs , a giant trex, a giant carcharodontosauurs, or maybe a new predator , all dinosaurs rocks.
@SupremeAmerican I think they are larger than that dude. Not that I believe Spino would win, becuz T-Rex is my fav and I believe it would win, but there is a tooth piece jutting out on the real Spino snout that was found in Africa. Though the tooth length and width is not certain. But by guessing, it was around 1-2 inches thick to 3-6 inches long, 5 inches would be the length in my preference though.
@MrTobyCure There's been a few dozen teeth found, the 2nd and 4th connical teeth on each side of the top jaw are larger than the rest, at ~4 inches, the remaining teeth vary from 2.1-3.4 inches in length. Isotopes found in the teeth suggest the spinosaurus had a semi-aquatic lifestyle and competed with crocodiles over fish. Some pterosaurs were also found with spinosaur teeth in them.
@SupremeAmerican Huh. I'm surprised. Then I guess that animaljp3 can't say Spino had gigantic teeth and such. >-> He can be inconsistent at times.
I know for a fact it lived in semi-aquatic environments due to analyzing the isotopes on it, but for a fact I know that it competed against Sarchosuchus, but probably failed and didn't succeed taking over the Croc's reign. If I'm correct, the reason for Spino dying was because of the change of environment. Specialization can be your worst nightmare.
@XxComablackxX1937 Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if they did risk injury ( or T-Rex did anyway ). In my opinion, T-Rex most likely acted in the same way a Lion does when it sees competition. It would most likely challenge any other apex predators it saw in it's territory.
@subsaibot4512 Spino would die no matter what if T-Rex bit him. When T-Rex bit you, bacteria in it's saliva would be left behind and eventually kill whatever was bitten.
Spinosaurus is a fish an small land Dinosaur predator... despite it's size an weight it still was built slimmer then ''T-Rex'' an would not have the power to take it down much-less survive a bite to the neck... JP3 was a load of shit an people take it seriously.
Not to mention Spino didn't have the force in its jaws or mobility to move his hands to break the T-Rex's neck.
@XxComablackxX1937 Not to mention I've heard that if it fell down and rolled onto it's fin, it would basically break it's back. So Im in full agreement. Jurasic Park 3 was pretty stupid.... it simply wanted to try and introduce a new "Super Dinosaur" and it apparently had to be at the expense of The King Of Dinosaurs.
It has conical and hollow teeth as seen in fishing animals, it lacked bite force and to be honest nobody ever considered spino better than rex until JP3 which is unrealistic and a movie
If u didnt eva see it dan why dont u GOOGLE da abstract as i suggested u 2 do :P! Anyway, i stand corrected: "c." cataphractus should be called mecistops cataphractus, as showed by mcaliley et al (2006)
Also, i said CATAPHRACTUS skull, not crocodylus niloticus or "c." porosus like da skull u talk bout: dere r MANY DIFFERENT SPECIES of crocodylids, nost just c. niloticus n "c." porosus :)
Giga was bigger and weighed more but t-rex was more heavily built (not meaning heavier) just stockier and muscular looking. The only advantage of spino is its gigantic size, and size isn't everything, yeah longer jaw, don't see why a fishing and carrion eating animal would be stronger than dinosaurs adapted to killing other giants animals. Spino's jaws were alot like gahrials jaws which are fishers. it's arms are under slung for scooping fish, it's sail would be unwealdy.
And it really annoys me cos they have found t-rex remains that indicate a larger rex than sue for intstance c-rex estimated at 45ft long. but no. everytime t-rex 40ft long and as soon as they find like a giga tooth or fragment their like omg 50ft long.
t-rexes had slightly longer legs than giga, although giga was longer and heavier, t-rex was taller and more heavily built. rex was the first animal to use bacteria in its mouth as well as a dislocating jaw to grab large prey. rex had a flexible backbone to give it increased agility in battle. So.... the facts are there. rex just was more advanced, i don't think that it has to worry about primative animals. You giga, spino, charcha fans never have facts you just go by "oh cos its bigger".
@LUKEKH2 well, yeah T.rex was more advanced, because T.rex was around 5 million years before Giganotosarus (If im not mistaken Giga was around between 90-80 million years). Giga is more heavily built, its larger and was mostly a pack hunter (it hunted Argentinosaurus and other giant dinosaurs), it also had three huge claws on each arm. T.rex had more balance, I would say the Spinosaurus owns them. The Spino has a longer jaw, has more strength, and is larger than the Giga and the T.rex.
@fgt73 The amount of fail in your post is mind blowing... not only are you biased, you got real facts wrong...
*t-rex was 5 million years before giga* Wtf are you high? T-rex lived around 70-65 million years ago, they all got killed by what ever killed all the other dinos... And the other stuff... i don't even know where to begin...
@MRNU979 dude, your the only one making any sense on this video. I congratulate you being on youtube and actually knowing what the hell your talking about.
Continued//// such as triceratops and ankylosaurus, hence rexes bite force and bone crushing teeth. t-rex also had a incredibly powerful neck which was the width of a mans waist and could lift up to 4-5 tonnes. And as many of you thinl giga was faster, i doubt it because had similar leg design to ostriches which are running animals. and many of t-rexes prey were faster than gigas prey such as iguanodon and argentinosaurus. t-rex had hollow bones and air pockets to reduce its weight.
Look, T-rex was one of the last evolving dinosaurs so therefore it will have advantages. Rex had a larger brain than giga and forward facing eyes leading to better depth precision in battle, while giga had side facing eyes it would have to keep turning sideways to judge distances while t-rex could face head on; it was also more probable that it was a more intelligent animal due to its larger brain. Young T-rexes were adapted to fighting some of the toughtest herbivores such as triceratops.
most people think that the spinosaurus is the biggest because of Jp3 but if you look on you tube they found a bigg ass meat eater way bigger the spino or giga
@wsgchopper It has nothing to do with ’thinking’ Spinosaurus was the biggest, he simply WAS the biggest. You can argue about a lot things, like who would have won in a fight, but not about this. It’s just a scientific fact and it has nothing to do with JP3. Whoever told you there was a bigger meat eater, clearly just made it up. One tip, don’t try to find accurate info about dinosaurus on You Tube. Most people here just believe what they want to believe.
Tyrannosauridae family would definitely win. They were just too smart, powerful and dangerous than allosauridae

the smartest animal always wins and we are living breathing proof of that we have shit defense no claws pathetic teeth but we are firmly atop the food chain smartest animal always wins t-rex was the most intelligent of the large therapods t-rex wins unless faced with a roving pack of raptors those things are smart quick , armed with nasty weaponry and they can conspire against you
bigjavo36 6 months ago
@bigjavo36 Actually, that's incorrect about the raptors. I understand intelligence is a definite key, but as a top predator, size is a huge factor of being the top predator. T-Rex faced off against Dromeosaurus n Troodon which were much bigger than the Velociraptor and equipped with the same talents. By size, T-Rex is the king of all predatory dinos due to his size is a huge deterrence against very smaller predators like Dromeosaurids. They have no chance against such a huge beast like T-Rex.

gigantosaurus was a great deal bigger then t rex how ever t rex was probably (in my opinion at least) the better predator since t rex was 1 faster and 2 smarther then gigantosaurs
MrBladeoa 8 months ago
@MrBladeoa
Well it really wasn't that much bigger than T-rex, only about 2-3 meters longer.
windowsVD 8 months ago
@windowsVD thats 6-9 ft difference it's a pretty big difference X D
MrBladeoa 8 months ago
@MrBladeoa
Eh, not really, a big difference for me would be twice that length.
windowsVD 8 months ago
@MrBladeoa Not really. Giga wasn't that big compared to T-Rex. It was only about 3 to MAYBE 6 feet longer than T-Rex. Giga's intelligence was not very high either, which was why evolution never gave it such an amazing thinking power, hence why T-Rex got the bigger brainpower. As well, T-Rex would n could overpower Giga with one single bite. His biteforce is tremendous and would dominate Giga in a fight.
MrTobyCure 6 months ago
@MrTobyCure How big would that make giga then? Isn't there a t rex which is supposedly 45 ft long? Also you seem to be assuming that giga wouldn't bite t rex. T rexes bite is more powerful but gigas can be just as deadly.
sergeidebrovski 4 months ago
MrTobyCure 4 months ago
@sergeidebrovski There are pieces of T-Rex typically a certain one that was found that was estimated 2 be 45 ft long, but there is no proof of that due 2 the fact the whole skeleton hasn't been found. All we know is that T-Rex died young, its oldest age was about 30 yrs at least. T-Rex had a much harder life than Giga, which I'm sure Giga lived a little longer than T-Rex. Hell, Sue only lived 2 be 30 yrs old before she died! That's considered 2 be quite young. We are sure they could live longer.
MrTobyCure 4 months ago
@MrTobyCure When i said just as deadly, I didn't mean power, i meant that it would of been just as effective on it's prey.
sergeidebrovski 4 months ago
@sergeidebrovski All predators are efficient, both have different prey which was why they were suited for different reasons. Giga's meat-slicing teeth were very efficient at killing sauropods, which took quite a long time but due to the fact they're prey was HUGE, they could waste the energy to do so and continue to hunt the giants.
T-Rex on the other hand had smaller prey, which meant he could not waste his energy on making long hunts. He had to make it a quick and deadly kill. Which is why it
MrTobyCure 4 months ago
@sergeidebrovski gigantic railroad spike teeth that would pulverize bone and anything that came in contact. T-Rex's was suited to hunt smaller but very well-defended prey! It had to face harder prey than Giga, so it had to be very robust predator to take hits from its prey and its own species. Giga was robust, but definitely not as robust as T-Rex, hence why T-Rex could take more punishment than Giga and hence why it could win in the fight between the two. Its just another proving factor.

SupremeAmerican 2 weeks ago
@SupremeAmerican I think they are larger than that dude. Not that I believe Spino would win, becuz T-Rex is my fav and I believe it would win, but there is a tooth piece jutting out on the real Spino snout that was found in Africa. Though the tooth length and width is not certain. But by guessing, it was around 1-2 inches thick to 3-6 inches long, 5 inches would be the length in my preference though.
MrTobyCure 1 week ago
@MrTobyCure Largest spino tooth on record thus far is something like 4.2 inches if i remember correctly.
SupremeAmerican 1 week ago
@SupremeAmerican We don't have a Spino tooth. The only thing we have is the snout and all the teeth are missing.
MrTobyCure 1 week ago
@MrTobyCure There's been a few dozen teeth found, the 2nd and 4th connical teeth on each side of the top jaw are larger than the rest, at ~4 inches, the remaining teeth vary from 2.1-3.4 inches in length. Isotopes found in the teeth suggest the spinosaurus had a semi-aquatic lifestyle and competed with crocodiles over fish. Some pterosaurs were also found with spinosaur teeth in them.
SupremeAmerican 1 week ago
@SupremeAmerican Huh. I'm surprised. Then I guess that animaljp3 can't say Spino had gigantic teeth and such. >-> He can be inconsistent at times.
I know for a fact it lived in semi-aquatic environments due to analyzing the isotopes on it, but for a fact I know that it competed against Sarchosuchus, but probably failed and didn't succeed taking over the Croc's reign. If I'm correct, the reason for Spino dying was because of the change of environment. Specialization can be your worst nightmare.
MrTobyCure 1 week ago
@XxComablackxX1937 Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if they did risk injury ( or T-Rex did anyway ). In my opinion, T-Rex most likely acted in the same way a Lion does when it sees competition. It would most likely challenge any other apex predators it saw in it's territory.
ThaOneChrisJONES 1 year ago
@subsaibot4512 Spino would die no matter what if T-Rex bit him. When T-Rex bit you, bacteria in it's saliva would be left behind and eventually kill whatever was bitten.
ThaOneChrisJONES 1 year ago
@ThaOneChrisJONES
T-Rex will always be ''King of the Dinosaur's''
XxComablackxX1937 11 months ago
@XxComablackxX1937 Not to mention I've heard that if it fell down and rolled onto it's fin, it would basically break it's back. So Im in full agreement. Jurasic Park 3 was pretty stupid.... it simply wanted to try and introduce a new "Super Dinosaur" and it apparently had to be at the expense of The King Of Dinosaurs.

LUKEKH2 1 year ago
t-rexes had slightly longer legs than giga, although giga was longer and heavier, t-rex was taller and more heavily built. rex was the first animal to use bacteria in its mouth as well as a dislocating jaw to grab large prey. rex had a flexible backbone to give it increased agility in battle. So.... the facts are there. rex just was more advanced, i don't think that it has to worry about primative animals. You giga, spino, charcha fans never have facts you just go by "oh cos its bigger".
LUKEKH2 1 year ago
@LUKEKH2 well, yeah T.rex was more advanced, because T.rex was around 5 million years before Giganotosarus (If im not mistaken Giga was around between 90-80 million years). Giga is more heavily built, its larger and was mostly a pack hunter (it hunted Argentinosaurus and other giant dinosaurs), it also had three huge claws on each arm. T.rex had more balance, I would say the Spinosaurus owns them. The Spino has a longer jaw, has more strength, and is larger than the Giga and the T.rex.

LUKEKH2 1 year ago
Look, T-rex was one of the last evolving dinosaurs so therefore it will have advantages. Rex had a larger brain than giga and forward facing eyes leading to better depth precision in battle, while giga had side facing eyes it would have to keep turning sideways to judge distances while t-rex could face head on; it was also more probable that it was a more intelligent animal due to its larger brain. Young T-rexes were adapted to fighting some of the toughtest herbivores such as triceratops.
LUKEKH2 1 year ago
Giga is bigger and has three claws he can own T.rex, rex has bigger teeth, more balance and is probably faster, but Giga would own Rex.
