@98AHR thats because offroad cars/trucks have like additional 1000 lbs or more under the chassis. they put a lot of thick metal shield so when they go over big rocks they dont mess up the transmission, driveshaft etc.

i know because my neighbor builds his and i watched him working on it all the time. i kept telling him to put at least a 4 point cage so when it flips the driver dont get crushed.
