This is certainly a cool gadget to have. The thing is it won't be an Iphone beater to me because I prefer the Iphone interface way better then this. For the what its worth, I'd rather get the Archos Media Tablet

Nokia is coming out with a new internet tablet that has wimax on it. The N810 JUST came out DON'T YOU GUYS WITH THE N810 FEEL LIKE WE GOT KICKED IN THE FACE. there's no usb hosting on the n810, how are suppose to ad an external wimax device. and we payed almost 500 bucks for it. we should have waited for the new N.. who knows and the prices would have dropped like the n800. we got raped. shame on nokia. I feel bad for the hackers that have to hack it again

maybe in the near future there will be a phone antenna that plugs in the micro usb port or the mini sd card slot, that would be nifty.

Hi I got nokia n810 as a christmas gift and i dnt even knw how to use this, its a brand new so if anyone wants to buy call me on 07725951301 and i looked in the internet the price is £293 but i will give it for £150.

what the hell? no phone functions! this is 2007! why would anyone pay so much for 2 devices when they can have one? i always thought the iphone's days were numbered but with devices like this its always going to be ahead!

The lady is a good product rep. She has done her homework.
And the Nokia N810 is the hottest thing on the planet. Fully open-source means a ton of ~free~ software. I'm also running emulators on my 770 - Frodo C64, PALM OS, DosBox, UAE amiga emulator etc.
Use a cheapo bluetooth phone, the N810 connects to internet with it. Its better than putting a radio in it, which only limits your choices for provider.

It should shipping by the end of November.
Besides WiFi it also has Bluetooth so you can pair it with your mobile phone and use your cellular data network.

I think it's on sale now.
The HTC equivalents (Shift and Advantage) can connect to the internet over the air without wifi. Had Nokia implemented a mobile phone antenna, that would have been possible for the N810 as well. Also you would be able to make calls.

who cares? it's a bit big for a cell phone isn't it? It's intended at a secondary device, an internet device, hence the name: Nokia Internet Tablet
