Textbook costed 190 dollars, 5 sample problems for each unit, not even close to enough to figure it out by looking at them cause every scenario is not shown. My professor speaks bulgarian and although she is nice, simply cannot speak discernible english and is extremely impatient. The tutor center is always full and understaffed, and sucks anyways. I just want to learn, and I paid $3200 of hard earned cash to do it yet I cannot find the tools or help. Why can I not have a teacher like you.. WHY?

I am begining to understand this more, I am a freshman in college who is a bit lopsided, advanced at english and arts and well...eh at math. I have to be able to do this sans calculator (eep) for the exit exam. I have to pass! Factoring and radicals were always my biggest problem, it was like trying to throw paper planes at a brick wall. It seems to flow a bit easier in my mind, your way, and that says a lotttt.

@nocturnalwonder2005 its basically a when you take the "a" from ax^2+bx+c and divide your two numbers that add up to "b" and multiply to the product of "a" and "c" and you divide them by it. I made a video response showing how its done.

@soccer3215 to factor that you have the factors for 6 which is 2x3 6x1 and for 12 you get 3x4 12x1 6x2, the factors that work are 3x2 and 3x4. if you multiply them together you get 9 and 8. 9-8 is 1, which is the 1x. so it would be (2x+3)(3x-4)

Umm, its to be expected that once you get to factoring trinomials, you already know what a polynomial is, so he doesnt have to explain it any further. Its also expected that you be able to compose complete sentences, so go learn that then come back, troll.
