set your delay for a long interval, but with no repeat. the result is one tap, far off. i used to use that sound, but if you're not careful the notes trip over each other and sound terrible.

Fucking love Dave's Lucretia solo, but it was only the second solo in that song. The first, more melodic solo, was Marty's. You can tell it's Dave's solo when he just shreds away at the A string and then climbs/slides on the low E string. Crazy ass solo. Marty's is actually MORE easier to play than Dave's in Lucretia.

@Videostar1another1fa Marty's solos are far more technical than anything Dave's ever come up with, dude. Anybody would tell you that. I'm just saying Dave's solo is harder because it's MUCH more difficult to memorize. Especially the part when he's doing the pinch harmonics and just goes ape shit on the G string. But try to learn Marty's solo if you haven't already. It's easily the hardest one he's written, IMO. VERY technical. But once you've got it, it's all good.

A technique that is known for being one of the more difficult techniques of guitar playing, and one that Dave RARELY ever uses (I say rarely because he did use 1 little sweep in two solos we know of, his solo part in A Tout le Monde and one part in My Last Words). I prefer Dave as a guitarist over any other guitarist, but he is no where near as skillful in playing as Marty is.

All the lead guitars in Megadeth are awesome, there isn´t the best or the worse

every guitarist put great solos in every album, the amazing bends and speed from poland, the epic and fast sound from jeff, the exotic melodic style from marty, the hard rock feeling from Pitreli, the grat sustain and feeling from Glen and the Perfect skiils and Technic from Broderick. If every one of they have the approval of Mustaine is because They are great guitarist. Just shup up haters and fanboys.

@mihailvoiculescu Part of it is. Dave starts it out, Poland follows on the 3rd bar and creates the harmony, then Dave continues on with the next 2 parts of the solo, followed by the ending solo which is only Poland.

I mean I'd have to dissagree their styles are completely different. Marty is very musicological, Dave is just straight from the hip, poland just does what he can with a lack of ligaments in his finger, which is actually alot. Poland was more into the Jazz aspect, Dave was more into the blues aspect, Friedman was more into the neo-classical aspect and i feel that they all owned their field. That's just my opinion.
