Who said the 80's were a terrbile time for music? BIH, Something Happens, Stars Of Heaven, early U2, Husker Du, Violent Femmes, Dream Syndicate - resurgent COuntry (Steve Earle et al) and even Guns & Roses - apart from some dodgy hair metal and shit pop (some things never change) - there are too many decent bands from then to mention - the media gives us the impression all there was Duran Duran and Nick Kershaw and OM fuckin D -
I am blown away. It's 2.00 am in the morning in Barcelona. I have not seen this in years. This, I think was a B-side and it's actually called "little flower" and my god, is it brilliant. Mick Jagger meets Joy Division. Killer guitar, killer everything!! U2 should cover this. It would give them real street cred again and finally give Blue In Heaven the recognition they deserve. Are you listening Bono? and the blue haired psychobilly in the audience is my!! Yey!!!
I was a Massive blue in heaven fan back in the day from cork saw all there Sir Henrys gigs, remember getting thrown out of there Gig in the meanfiddeler in london for stage diving, they were amazing live would love to get my hands on some digital stuff someone might have!!!
I cannot even believe I found this!!! I"ve been looking for information, a track, a download, ANYTHING on this band... what rottenbastard said, they were HORRIBLY overlooked. I guess BONO got tired about the same time he SIGNED this band. I saw them in a tiny venue in the middle of Cambridge Square in BOSTON, it was their first show of their FIRST tour, and they were incredible.
Love that bass, fair play to Declan.

they are a brilliant edgy dublin band. where is shane now? does anyone know anything about
the band d.c. nien? they played at ucd
earlsfort terrace about 1980 and i have yet to see a video by them anywhere. they had
a song called "mutants" and had a funky saxophone player as well.

as much as i love them i have never ever seen video of them before.
i have a publicity shot from explicit material, i have both albums all the singles and the r.i.p. ep.
i just paid like $40 to get japanese copies of the albums just for the lyric sheets.
and now to finally see them!!
thank you so much.
