Kimbo is a great street fighter, arguably one of the best ever, certainly one of the most popular. But going up against guys like this who are trained fighting machines, this sort of thing is bound to happen. You can't take anything away from him, but he is now in a league where he is not the only super man.

I don't watch UFC or other fights, I started with wrestling and always liked Boxing/Karate so I learned Jiu Jitsu then eventually all of them. Also I disagree. I believe a well rounded MMA fighter would pound a shaolin monk. They're flashy but not a lot of substance. And I highly doubt Kimbo threw this fight...

@oosuchin Yeah but when you get older and you've been knocked out times before each knockout gets easier and easier. Your chin gets weaker with age and experience. Not to mention, if you practice MA you and I both know even small punches to the chin/face area while you're moving forward can completely knock you off track and stun you. @greendizerrr I think they don't appreciate a fighter who is all brawn with little in the way of technique. It represents the kind of fighting style that many real martial artists are directly opposed to. To see Kimbo Slice use it to any sort of effectiveness is like a slap in the face to them.

So they are only pitted against other men who know how to fight. Then, when in trouble, they are broken up by the ref. The ref stops them from serious injury. Without a ref or rules, you make their ability limitless. An MMA fighter is even MORE DANGEROUS on the street...

For people who thin MMA is "Real Fighting" you're VERY VERY VERY wrong, in a REAL fight there are NO RULES! in MMA matches, there's all kinds of rules, so it's possible to win on a "technicality", as we've witnessed here. so please don't "go crazy" over how MMA is a real fight. "yes the hits are full contact.. with padded gloves" but the rules prevent it from being "100% real", i've seen some Kimbo backyard fights "street people aren't trained" but it's 100% full contact, and win = KO, or quit

@greendizerrr I think they don't appreciate a fighter who is all brawn with little in the way of technique. It represents the kind of fighting style that many real martial artists are directly opposed to. To see Kimbo Slice use it to any sort of effectiveness is like a slap in the face to them.
Think of it this way: you've trained your whole life to get marginally good at something, and then you have to watch someoe who hasn't do it better than you. You can imagine how frustrating that would be
