  • Excuse me, one question, is that normal when the car sounds like this ? (1:32 ) sounds like it will break in a minute ;)

  • @b00giemanXxX , thats normal, and its the microphones fault. i own an 02 and it has the same sound. not a problem

  • @aBBlade1 oh, so then, thank You for your answer Sir ;)

  • The 2.7 is a complete pos! Probably the worst engine ever made! I would be amazed if this car is still on the road today.

  • @Jakeman21642 A major exaggeration. ANY engine is prone to failure if maintenance is ignored, some more so than other. Change the oil in standard intervals and maintain your fuel system and sludge won't be an issue. Do you know how poorly most people maintain their cars?

  • @Jakeman21642, i have an 02 with the 2.7 and it is rock solid, the only issue ive had is the standard water pump issue. u have no clue bout engines sir. this motor is a rock, if you maintain it. just like everybody else says. cant stress that enough, take care of your motors!!

  • Biggest problem with this car is the 2.7 POS

  • can you do a test drive a Chevy volt

  • how come whenever your about to put the car in reverse you change the camera view? lol

  • Stay away from Chrysler.

  • your car's engine sounds in great working order

  • what is your job called? its pretty cool

  • All you guys bitching about the 2.7 engine need to stfu. I'm 16 and I got a 2002 Chrysler Sebring LXi with black leather seats, chrome rims, and a woodgrain dash. I've had no problems with it and it has 154,000 miles. All you have to do is get the oiled changed when it needs to be and take car of the rest of the car. It's my first car and I'm glad I got it.

  • @Skate4Iife haha my 1st car too it has the same everything expect its 2001

  • I think that the 2.4 turbo should be better

  • do a 2009 or 2010 sebring

  • This car sucks. Babied it and it's engine was blown at 67,000 miles ):

  • I love trains. I hope they never disappear from our landscape.

  • That thing sounds like a monster for what it looks like

  • at 5:25 i heard a click when the transmission shifted....shift solenoid prehaps?

  • i have one i have 97k miles on it and had to replace the water pump because of a cold winter freeze i hope it doesnt die on me like all these comments say im selling it this year

  • Slick looking car!

  • i hate tan interiors

  • try a different route next time lol

  • I do not care what anyone says; I like this car.

  • why did u beep idiot?

  • I love the Chrysler Voyager and the Sebring LX! Thanks for uploading! :))

  • Hey guys take a close look under the hood. Now look for the battery. Thats right you can't see it. What you have to do is take off the left front tire and you'll see an access door for the battery. From there you'll have to pry off the pastic cover to get access to it. What an inconvient location.

  • It needs a transmission flush. Listen to the whine.

  • The 2.7 isn't that great of an engine but with a bit of maintainance it will run just fine. People are just too "busy" these days going to Yoga and to Wal-Mart that a simple oil change is beyond the scope of their sophisticated busy lives.

  • @7477238 So true.

  • I think the problems with the 2.7 are overblown, as it will last as long as you know how to maintain it properly. The problems with the 2.7 start and end with the water pump, which needs to be replaced at no later than 80,000 miles. Replace the timing chain tensioner with the revised one put out by Chrysler, and replace the PCV every three years. Follow those three steps and you will have nothing to worry about.

  • @TheNostalgiaSpot you've nailed it bang on.... oil pressure switches go bad to... but those are $20 bucks and dont really affect the way the motor runs. it just triggers low oil pressure light.

  • Great! My Sebring just hit 200,000 km, check out my clip!

  • Great video!

  • AvtoVaz and Volga Saiber it not one and too!

  • I have the Lxi model, and i love it!

I have no problem with the engine.

    ... my car had 147000 miles...have a nice day !

    ^^

  • i love the 2.7 a very ballsy little 6 cylinder and consitering that almost everybody but me doesent maintain their car for shit...caugh caugh... oil changes....caugh caugh.....yea people have sludge problems with them but still amazing that such a small displacement engine pulls off the kind of power that it does...if you use synthetic oil you never get sludge buildup in the first place

  • @g20s10silveradoman Totally agree, I love the way my Sebring drives.

  • the 2.7 V6 is really proven to last only like 80-100,000 miles.. sludge problems ya know? Chrysler says they fixed it but people still have problems... gotta get the bulletproof 3.5 V6 if your getting a V6.. I have the 3.5 in my LHS... amazing engine.

  • Goddamn, Sebring fucking sucks. Worst car ever?

  • dude major curb action at 2:43!!! lol

  • I have a 2004 Chrysler Sebring LX. I bought it with 82,000km 2 years ago it now has 130,000km. I have not had one problem with mine. Just regular oil changes.

  • and yes it has the 2.7 in it

  • lol i'm surprised them ac nobs didnt break when you turned them that fast, Chrysler plastics are cheap, we had to replace our ac nobs twice in our Sebring from turning them too fast

  • I have a 02 2.7 also and its on my 6th year still driving very smooth! almost 200000 km

  • "Got my tri-pod setup in the rear" haha awesome!!

  • does it really take 9 minutes to show off a 9 year old 2.7L Chrysler shitbox?

  • *brake*

  • I hope you're aware that revving a cold engine is BAD VERY BAD! revving a cold engine causes friction wear on the cylinder walls piston rings and pistons. and the way you gun and break is hard on the car also! i wouldn't buy a car from your lot!

  • ive got an 02 with the black/grey interior. kinda wish it had the creme one. i looks nice!

  • Does anyone know the sound system it has in it, and the wattage? I have an 02' Sebring and I've always wondered lol !

  • Run don't walk from this Chrysler!

  • what car company is your least favorite?

  • does it have steering wheel audio controls?

  • I have a 2002 LXI which has the leather seats, and I love it!

  • Does anybody know the song that's at 3:00 with the 'ahh ohhh ohh'?

  • @ElectroGhandi

30 Seconds to mars - Kings and queens

  • iknow you are bussy but when are you going to upload some new test drives ,? your videos are awsome ;)

  • iknow you are bussy but when are you going to upload some new test drives ,? your videos are awsome ;)

  • too many hater comments, its so crazy!

  • my sister had one but it died at 145,000 miles its a damm shame

  • there was a dodge stratus similar to this one at the dealership where i got my impala at.

  • Surprised Chrysler didn't badge the outside to say it has a V6...I don't see badging that indicates that anywhere...

  • I used to love these cars when I was younger and now that I am older I still DO!

  • can you take a full deph tour with mitsubishi outlander?

  • Great video! I was waiting for the engine to blow up as you were test driving it. lol

  • The engine sounds better on this than the dark blue Caravan's 2.4L. I always did like the exhaust note of the Sebring and I have no idea why

  • I drive a '99 Concorde, luckily it has the 3.2L engine in it.

By the way can do a vid on a Chrysler Concorde, preferably one from the 98-2004? If you get a chance.

  • everyone is right. I just looked on a Chrysler repair website and it states that the Chrysler 2.7 lifespan on average is 30-70,000 miles without serious issues. this appears to be a pretty nice vehicle overall though.

  • I love how ridiculously slow the tachometer is on a lot of these older Chryslers.

  • Wow Sounds Really Nice!

  • i know someone who had one of these but she traded it in for a jaguar xj!

  • i like it, but my dad wont buy chrysler.

  • That 2.7 will kill you, get out of the car now!!!!!XDLOL

  • With 59,000 miles, this 2.7 is running on borrowed time

  • looks like it has an anoying whine to the engine/transmission?

  • I didn't expect an exhaust note like that!

  • lucky you didn't blow the motor! you probably already know that those 2.7s are bad, although chrysler is my favorite car company.

  • @LarryDavidFreak lol, the car runs beautifully, there's nothing wrong with it :)

  • @LarryDavidFreak The only real problems with the engine were in the intrepid which that poor lil engine should have never had to pull around yes the engine didnt have the best design but its not like the trep helped any

  • @FantomLightning that is a great engine when it is properly maintenanced, but like most people, getting an oil change is not thier top priority and dont understand how important it is.

  • @LarryDavidFreak i heard the 2.7L go bad is because people dont change the oil as frequently as they should, also the timing belt and WATER PUMP need changed frequently too, this is the major causes. chrysler does suck badly.

  • @LarryDavidFreak I have the Lxi model, and i love it!

I have no problem with the engine.

    ... my car had 147000 miles...have a nice day !

  • @LarryDavidFreak i have one and ITS A PIG ON GAS

  • What do you think of Dodge/Chrysler Vehicles? Nice Vid.

  • I see you are doing another JR body, I'm starting to wonder if there are any JA Bodys left in NC!

  • that car don't seem very fast :P my 2.2l can out beat that iwth my mods :P. U guys sgould check the airfilter so how dirty it is

  • i know someone that has one :P

  • doesnt seem very "peppy" does it?

  • uhh....

the 2.7 is one of the worst motors in history

my sister's intrepid died at 100,000 miles

  • @havinthangs55 yeah I know it is lol, I was like aww, people are going to comment this so much saying that when I saw the engine. our other sebring is a 4 cyl, but this one was in nicer shape and just overall looks better so I did the vid on this one.

  • @saabkyle04

what was that wierd whining noise coming from the engine? Great review btw :)

  • @havinthangs55 my siters sebring died at 145,000miles

  • @havinthangs55 My Sebring has 90,000 miles on it and it runs beautifully.

  • @havinthangs55 dosent mean anthing jsut means kids driving

  • @havinthangs55 because your sister didnt maintain it.

  • @hshadow and saabkyle04:

Chrysler is now under control of Fiat, together are they going to develop new cars. Like the new Sebring, for example.

  • The 2.7L V6 in these cars is bad news. I used to own a 2003 Sebring LXi with the same engine and had nothing but problems. I would not recommend owning any vehicle with a Chrysler 2.7L V6!

  • Are family also owns a Dodge Stratus with a 2.7L V6 and we have had no problems whats so ever... now the steering. Not a bad engine

  • @RYJ1990 you are 120% Correct! these 2.7s fail at around 80,000 Miles, so these engines are essentially ticking time bombs!

  • Interesting you should mention that. My aunt has a 2007 300 with the 2.7 V6 and it hasn't had any problems.

  • @RYJ1990 is actually a grat car , when working ... lol i destroit 2 of those engines

  • @RYJ1990 so is the 2.4 a better motor?

  • @Friendly0Dan Yes, the 2.4 is better than the 2.7 V6. However, I would not consider either of them to be reliable engines.

  • I just love the gauges on the Sebrings. The black looks so much cooler than the white gauges.

  • I think they look nice too.

  • Regardless of the cheap effort-less look of the interiors of these cars (although this one has a nice colour), I really like these cars alot! There are tons of these on the roads where I am to and the ride is really smooth and quiet, great car for cruising around in or going on a road trip while saving gas. These cars are actually very fuel-efficient, when me and my family went to Toronto on vacation, a Sebring was our rental car and we drove all over the place and only burned one tank of gas!

  • @adambot3000

With all the wood trim and stuff?

  • @McVaio No I don't think our rental had that. This was in 2003, so we had a 2003 Sebring. I can barely remember it, being so long ago, but I do remember it having a black cloth interior and the 2.7L V-6 with an automatic.

  • You know there redoing the sebring for 2011, and its going to be heavily based on the 200c concept car. And the interior is going to have lexus quality style, better driving dnamics, ride, you name it. I'm really excited to see what its going to be like! I hope its going to be alot better then the current one.

  • @AmericanCars101 oh wow that sounds pretty awesome, I can't wait to see it either!

  • I was under the impression Chrysler wasn't producing any new models?

  • @hshadow86 I'm not sure exactly, I know this generation was sold to some russian company and they produce it now

  • @saabkyle04 it was sold to AutoVAZ, and its now called the Volga Siber.

  • @hshadow86 they still make the sebring

  • @AmericanCars101

Maybe, but definitely need to remember that anything they say should be taken with a grain of salt. Don't get your mind set until someone other than Chrysler says its good. . .

  • @AmericanCars101

I hope not, Lexus is the dullest, gayest "luxury brand" I know of.

  • @McVaio very untrue

  • Where are the nice cars at ? Like mercedes, audis, BMWs... come on now... LOL

  • @NewYorkCityBoy123 not everyone likes to see expensive cars all the time lol, I've been doing this long enough to know. More will come but my channel is about variety. everything from lambos and bentleys to chrysler sebrings for ford escorts lol

  • What is the most luxurious car you have rode in ?

  • @NewYorkCityBoy123 probably a 2007 bentley continental gt, heck of a car

  • haha i dnt even watch any of your high priced vehicles i like the cheaper cars better. u have a great channel keep it up

  • You just keep doing what you're doing, no complaints from me

  • So un-luxury.

  • @NewYorkCityBoy123 Yah but it is still stylish.
