My friends (ages 15 and 16) have an up and coming band, and they've showed me some of their songs and they're actually really good. And they made their band in 2009. There are always good bands. Real bands, as you say. I really hope they make it. The world needs more kickass bands in the mainstream. There aren't as many great bands in the mainstream as there were in the 90s though
i'm sure there are good bands around today, but its not the same, the 60's 70's 80's and 90's were the years of guitar rock and roll, that era died and it died with oasis,

i had 2 male dogs (they can be territorial w/ each other) and sometimes they fought in ways i had to hose them to get them apart. but when they went out on the streets they went together and defended each other against other dogs...point is no matter if Liam and Noel hate each other if one of them is in danger the other brother wouldn't hesitate to defend him.

@dazmein well, that's your opinion though I beg to differ. But this is a free country and you are entitled to your opinion. the Eagles are great, IMO Henley and Frey is the anchor of their sound.

@dazmein I disagree. Kings of Leon, The Killers, The White Stripes, The Stokes, Queens of the Stone Age. Some heavy weight bands there. In the last past 6-7 years.

@felix8989 No one is bigger than The Beatles,that pretty much goes without saying, but Oasis are not that big, or even good! There are plenty of UK bands bigger than Oasis.

@coltsuperocean10 i know thats your opinion and i respect that, oasis are big, oasis could have held knebworth 53 nights in a row, they sold over 60-70 million albums worldwide, got guiness world records for the longest song in top 75, theyve won over 40 odd awards for numerous stuff for their music including lifetime achievment awards and best album of past 30 years, yeh your right they not big as they used to be but they still up there with the best. and definitely best and biggest in england
