Hey my Womans select chior is doing this song and we are performing it on Monday and Tuesday I give you guys props I know how hard this song is to pull off and you guys did it with perfection!
I agree with KEJKS, the pronunciation is good, near to the native Czech speaker. It had to be quite hard to learn wo someone, who speaks Czech well. It is the language hard to learn for abroaders by both grammar and pronunciation.
for the best interpretation I would listen Ostrava childrens´choir - since the sopranos are supposed to be a bit higher- the song itself was primarily arranger for childens choirs and is widely used among Chez choirs
All Americans must be singing from a mistyped text. They all are singing "kravaře z děstiny volává" instead of "kravaře z dědiny volává". Dědina is village in Moravian dialect. Find Czech choir and you will hear.
Funny I sang it few hours ago XD Year ago I sang 2nd soprano and now I sing 2nd alto. I love this song. BTW. This song is in czech language and I am czech.
