  • I remember exactly where I was and who told me,that Elvis was dead.On the porch in Big Rock,Illinois.My Mom told me.She got the call from a neighbor,whose husband was in a band and did an Elvis act.I never miss achance to watch an Elvis movie. .Not because they are great movies,just because there will never be anyone bigger or more important than he was.His most influential stuff came early and came fast,and was the perfect person at that moment in time.it still hasnt stopped echoing.
