Holy shit. Who is this Goldenboy person, and why cant I find any other songs by him? The song has a really strong Elliott Smith quality to it, so I'm curious if this other guy just happens to have that similar sound, or if Elliott wrote it.

@Straichen he does Have somewhat of a similar sound. My mom played in this band she did Violin to someof the songs. Summer of the Evening is one of there good songs, I love that song.

no i think it's all elliott. there's obviously some effect thing goin on with his voice. that effect was used on from a basement on the hill.

@candymiser Yeah, I agree. It sounds like a very, (very) slight phlange. It brings out the "whispery" quality of his vocal. You can hear it clearly in the "s" of "street lights." I could be wrong, but that's what is sounds like.

I had never heard this. Really beautiful song.
