even if i just type CD and swip the folder to the terminal :(

@shioibarra you have to name the folder on the deskto"smackbook" and delete the space between sm ackbook so it should be smackbook--

@seinfeldfan7898 dont think so. Itworks on macbooks because they have sudden motion sensors, they disable the harddisks when it thinks you drop it to protect data. Its very unlikley that you would drop an imac in every day use so it doesnt have a motion sensor

Hey, if this doesn't work for you, google "smack spaces." It's a free download that allows you to do the same thing, but in one step. Everything is contained in the one package. Worked for me!

If you have the problem where the virtual desktop doesn't open then re download the file from the site. open it like you did before but this time push ignore when it says virtual desktops needs your attention. Then you can open the file at the top of your screen on the menu bar.

A window doesn't show up when you open up VirtuaDesktops. Have you looked at the menubar? If not double click the VirtuaDesktops icon. Wait 5 seconds. Then right-click it and click OPEN. A window should show.
