@brandonatau lost ma shit hell i wouldve screamed loud n fainted..oh come on chaka n prince....dats as real as it gets baby...real music..real singin and wat a song...dis is just gold is wat it is:)
man his voice is so sexxy when he speaks.......i wonder if my twin twin still watches this...............this is yummmmmy .......hey twin whereever u are....miss u x
Amazing vocals, amazing guitar playing by the "Prince"....
Have to say..Prince is in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame , and very deserving, but can't figure out why The Rock and Roll Hall of fame hasn't inducted Chaka??? Or Chaka and Rufus. They had so many hits and were very innovative in the style of music they played!
Two of my all time favorites together in one masterful rendition of one of my favorite all time songs. Where shall I bow on my knees to thank you? THIS VIDEO ROCKS!
OKAAAAAY, what IS that style of guitar playing he goes for at the start.
because it's turning me on like you would not believe :P:P
probably just cause it's prince though, but seriously, througha wawa pedal in there lol, no not that far. anyway anyone know???? reply to mine if you do cause i won't see it if you just say it after!! :(:(
That's some very late Hendrix psychedelic rock/funk stuff. Reminiscent of the Band of Gypsies era stuff. There are youtube clips of stuff from that album on yt.
@megahann12 One of princes biggest influences on guitar as well as showmanship and other things is Jimmy Hendrix. The guitar riffs speaks so clearly to that.
@dingostorm11 YES! Finally Someone who actually sees who Prince emmulates himself by...the man...Jimi Hendrix...his swagger, his mouth, his whole movement and concentration while playing are from Hendrix! I have said this since the late 70's.Thank You!!!
yes, it was on UK television advertised as a secret one night gig (i forget which channel) but it must have been about that time. I remember backing up the audio from video to cassette so a long time ago. Chaka Khan also did "Baby, I love you" with him. Prince at his best.
Nice collaboration as always just wish u had posted the next song which was "You Got the Love" ...i have this whole concert in my Prince collection and i have to say its a kick ass concert.
my sister sent me this video, she had found it in one of her files, but i have a cd that has another part of this, but chaka khan is sing another song....LIVE
Thanks Prince for not taking this off . We miss you on youtube.

i think this is a special one off concert he did in London, 1997.
i have the whole thing on VHS. i have not watched in a very long time, but it seems to be the one.
its in a small very intimate venue in London.

Chaka and Tony Maiden of Rufus wrote it, recorded it in 1975. No one does it like Chaka...add a li'l Prince and ...PRESTO: magic!
