How right.A new voice phenomenon may have "rattled some cages". A singer cannot be everything just as honey is not sugar. However wonderful a voice, its appreciation depends on composition. When Mauli's musical voice is matched with the composition, the effects are excellent.She is an interesting singer. Musical Mauli or versatile Poonum depend on the composer to create pure entertainment and delight. Never give a rose to a monkey and expect it to comment on its fragrance.
She is still on the stage because of 'communal' votes from Gugrat and/or Gujrati speaking people. These votes are not based on talent. The voters from Gujrat or all Gujrati speaking voters are ignoring the 'spirit' of SAREGAMAPA as well as all the musuc lovers.

These guys with "performance" can only do stage shows, cut a couple of CDs as part of a contract and simply disappear...
Excellent style and rendering of singing. Her voice is original. She definitely offers something different from the other singers.
