I wouldnt call it a dumb serve, id call it a missed serve. nothin wrong with lobs to the forehand if you hit them well. but i definitely would mixed it up if i kept missing like that and setting alvi up. but thats easy to say when im not actually on the court lol

No you are right I just can't justify hitting forehand lobs that keep coming off the back over and over. On the other hand, if Alvaro isn't making you pay for your mistake then why change? It's just that his back hand nick looked really nice and I would have gone to that more often.
