Hey my rig is almost identical to yours. I have an i7 2600k at 3.8 ghz, a gtx 580 1.5gb, 16 gb of ram. I just wanted to know I only have a 600 watt PSU for the rig. I'm not going to be adding anything to it for a while, will 600 watts be enough??

@Hiflyable Here are the differences in the scores p+332, 3Dmark +267, Physics score +1668 , combined -167, looking at the combined score is pointless it is not accurate at all those are the points above yours and if you want an avrage they avg 755 points higher. The physics score alone is almost 1.7k higher than yours. With these benchmarks your not going to see a massive score increase in score.
(even it would be 755 still weak :) you should have at least 1 - 1.5 K more than mine ) And your EVGA is stock OC (more than mine) compared to native GTX 580 (and i can OC mine more than you due to better cooling ). If you have some $ left buy SSD even for system and drivers solo.
BTW Lifetime warranty means its limited by the time this card is being produced .... so in fact it is 3-4 years :)
@Hiflyable You have a 580 I have a 580 they are almost the same clocks, you have the 2500k and i have the 2600k They will be almost the same in benchmarks what are you trying to prove? I know you got yours cheaper but they are almost the same builds. My 580's in sli do not go above 70c-75c in BF3 and thats not bad for stock cooling. So I went overboard with some of my stuff but I plan on having this pc for the next few years. My 2600k and 580's will last 3-4 maybe 5 years which is more than to

@blazinazn608 The case is pretty damn quiet man the 230,200mm and 140mm fans are pretty quiet. Much better than having 120mm fans. I think the only fans I can hear in the case are the ones on the cpu which are 120mm's.

@treinosa86 I'd go with the 2500k it is slightly better for gaming but both would be good at multi tasking as for the blu ray burning I would think you would have to use 2 drives one normal blu ray drive and one burner blu ray drive.

@eeyk1993 Cheap crappy keyboard its a very high quality keyboard rofl. Its far from cheap and crappy its a Filco Majestouch Linear R Limited Edition keyboard. It has red mx key switches which are not very easy to come by.
Hey can I ask why you chose the 2600K when you are using a high end videocard, the only difference between 2600 and 2600K is that the K supports Inetl HD 3000 onboard graphics.... and no offence hé
@neblixsaber This does not mean that a 2600 cannot be overclocked, the max clock speed on the 2600 is 4.2 GHz, and the 2600K can go much higher, but why do you want a quad-core combined with a GTX 580, overclocked futher then 4.2 GHz ?
@Bvzijverden Because it's only $15 more and people overclock for FUN. There's no real reason to overclock for gaming because gaming doesn't really take i7 to its limits at stock speeds. Overclocking is a novelty.
@Bvzijverden Also, the i7-2600k has Intel HD3000, which is better when you want to do things with Quick Sync if you have a Z68 board. Overclocking AND Virtu.
