I liked how in the freeza saga becoming a super saiyan meant you were a fucking badass, and goku was the only one... Then in later series it's like kids are becoming super saiyans, and they are weak as shit?

This scene (Krillin's death) in DBZK seemed better...

In the original FUNimation dub, Frieza triggers Goku's Super Saiyan transformation by cracking a dark joke about Krillin's death ("Pop Goes the Weasel!"), while in the FUNimation dub of Dragon Ball Z Kai, he states his intention to kill Gohan next, which would seem more appropriate than the joke given Goku's sudden outburst of anger.

@DBZUploader2011 You're right. I really don't know why the dub was changed so drastically, it led to many plot holes. A dub is more important than people think because what you hear is how you're going to interpret a scene and make judgments about it. Unfortunately, this is the only clip that I had access to at the time. :p but I'm in the process of getting some Kai clips too.

@darockk99 But if he made a dark joke, then Goku would (Like he normally does) shrug it off, but after witnessing his best friends and Piccolo's death, threatening to kill his son was enough to push him past his limits. Goku already knew he was far weaker than the injured Frieza and if he charged after him, he would possibly die.
