  • Wunderbare Aufnahme. Danke für diese Rarität!

  • Composers credits underneath the title are wrong! It should be Jimmy McHugh and Dorothy Fields instead of Gus Kahn and Elmer Schoebel...

  • Wonderful version!

  • I have a book that is very useful in dating and identifying the personnel on German dance and jazz 78 recordings. It is "Die deutsche "78er" Discographie der Hot-Dance-und Jazz-Musik 1903-1958" by Horst H. Lange. This book is a very useful listing of German jazz and dance 78's from 1903-1958. This recording is listed in the book on page 378 as recorded in Berlin in December,1928. I enjoyed this easy swinging version of this tune by a great band. The trombone solo was very good.

  • Such a good version! The sound is amazing, especially given that it's a flexible disc.

  • Great to hear this - have another version by Lud on his "1924-33" CD. Spencer Clark's bass sax playing is just a delight! Surprised a colored celluloid disc 80 years old can sound this good.

(BTW- "I Can't Give You" was really written by McHugh and Fields.)

  • Einfach toll...noch dazu auf so einer

    raren Platte, danke!
