  • ha) on decrepit birth 2001 he play 250 bpm fast brutal staff with various music signatures)

but now show basic bits and fills))

  • What is that beautiful SABIAN crash?!?!

    I WANT IT!!!

  • shame they don't sell these in mexico i want them badly

  • lol , he is bored ass HELL!!!!

  • its probably tilted so he can play rimshots on the snare

  • Shit i think tim could make a groove percussion 5 piece sound good

  • you know what, the 7 piece may be worth it. ill be back in a year and ill be ready

  • LOL

its so fucking hilarious to see him play those basic rockbeats xD

while normally he plays the most brutal hardest shit

    ;D

i bet his bored as fuck:P

    GO TIM YEUNG

    IM A BIG FAN ;D

  • you recognize how bad he is without a double bass

  • A good drummer knows to play easy and crazy divine heresy beats :)

  • Tim Yeung is a drumming genius. Such a simple fill, yet so Metal at the same time.

  • does the included crash sound ok?

  • ddrum needs to check the impending doom drummer out. ahem ahem

  • I like how this has a link to his masterclass. it's like "yay, i've mastered the rock beat! oh, Tim has another lesson-..............O.O wut"

  • @itsJoanfuckingJett: Completely true, just keep in mind that room, mics and audio equipment (which in this case is pretty much haleluja leveld) will also help alot to get this sound. although i have to say: if crapp comes in, crapp comes out.

  • you know he want to bring out some double bass CHOPS so bad...it killing him!?

  • Its too fast, it confuses me. Please play it even slower again :(

  • ha, these sound good, but its not like every beginning drummer has top of the line sabians.....even though i do, im not a beginner though ahahha. tim yeung is a god.

  • Nope..It goes to show with the right EQ settings on the mixer and the right amount of compression you can get a decent drum sound.

Although choice drum heads would also help definately.

  • @Dane3p There was actually very little processing in the audio at all. True Tim's selection of heads and his Sabian's are awesome and certainly improve the D2s tone from stock. Just shows though how the quality of the D2 can grow with a player's growth.

  • @ddrumofficial then why didnt you play the stock kit? if it sounds so good.

  • @ddrumofficial what sizes do the D2 kits come in, like 5piece or 6 or maybe 7 or 8? and about how much would they be?

  • @ddrumofficial is his snare tilted away from him? like toward his high tom? it looks like it from the video angles

  • With these videos, you can clearly see that any kind of drums can sound really good with a good tuning and good drumheads... Personally, I will always stick with my Tama Imperialstar hehe! :)

  • And that's what a good drumming background is.

  • got this set for xmas for $200! woo :Dnowi just need to learn to play them haha.

  • Needs more cowbell.

  • holy crap those toms sound good for a beginner kit.

  • @DjScout - That's because he's got great heads on it, it's professionally tuned, and it's mic'd up! :D

  • @BryceButler2 He does things right. Put Evans on your kit and maaaan it sounds good. Remo heads _can_ sound good, if you're amazing at tuning drums. But Evans you can get to sound spectacular with very limited experience. Get som two ply Evans. Back in the day I had a Beech Custom from yamaha, and they were somewhat tricky to tune, very bright timbre. Used remo's, and I'm pretty good at tuning, but they never sounded great. Swapped for Evans.. Blimey.. It's night and day.

  • And then Tim goes: "Jk..." and plays Morbid Angel.

  • OK im a drummer my self (hints my name) and i was wondering if a basic midnight black d2 set is good (just the basic drums on it) please reply!!!!!!!

  • @ClaymoreDrummer there great for the price i got mine today i love them

  • In the very beginning I thought it was In My Place by Coldplay

  • 3:29-3:32 was awesome.

  • 3:30 was epic

  • Hell I can't bear the thought that such a great metal band's drums are based of a 200 dollar beginner kit! And the kit sounds great!

  • LOL @3:41 it looked like he was about to play more, but then stopped

  • that kit sounds pretty good for a bigginers kit

  • Tim Yeung playing the basic rock beat is priceless :)

  • @reezlaw I don´t like seeing him play something THAT basic :O

  • @reezlaw i now right!

  • his pure destroyin the crash ahah

  • Great beginners tip!! Awesome drum solo @ the end. Timmy's the man!
