That ain't news in any way. I got caught myself in Ontario at a checkpoint. The cop searched my car except for the trunk, he then searched my jeans but never looked in my jacket where I had 4 big joints. Then I got in the policecar to do the normal identification procedures and since I had no criminal record he just let me go. If I had a criminal record, I would have gone to jail that night, passed before a judge the next morning and had to pay at least a 1000$ fine. But hey it is Canada!!!
