Possible. But females also carry eggspots on there anal fins also. When spawning both males and females take turns going down on there anal fins. Cichlids also do this during fights or when fending another cichlid off. It's more or less a sign of dominance. They turn to there size, shake, flare out all the fins and puff there gills out simotaniously to display there size profile. I wouldn't by into this video just yet.
