hey im thinking of getting another kit because i stopped at 10 but im 13 now and want another what you recommend im sort of beginner but a bit better if you get what i mean
you're really good at playing many different things at the same time, like playing snare, bass, and symbols... i cant do that, guess i need more practice! :D
um... mum will not let me get a set. i showd her 1 and said dat will fit. den she said wat bout noise. i said i won't play it at night. anyway dat kit would be perfect a nice small kkit. how much was it?
This is a pearl forum kit it cost me 200 bucks off a friend, its more expensive in the store but for anyone starting out its better to get a cheaper drum set besides its not always the drum set the drum heads play a big factor.
from a drummer to a drummer dude ur to good to still be playing that beginner set.. i would invest in like a pdp for a second set............. how long have you been playing
@mantra1123 retard, pdp is a beginner drum company, they dont make quality drum sets, ludwig, gretch, ddrum, pearl, and dw, make some of the worlds finest drum sets.
well guys you dont need an expensive set to be good just play on wut you have then when you get older and record songs then you buy all that poopy and this vid was so awsome i forwarded to like 11 of my homies =D
just buy a cheap set off of e bay or get a set of groove percussion for 329$ ,then you just change the heads and cymbals,i have a set now and it sounds as good as my pearls,no need to spend alot at first
nice A custom crash bro get u a tom expansion kit and a 20 inch ride and flip the cymbal ur riding on now up and then use it as a second crash very nice
thats that my brother althought lm not your skin, but l unederstand that floathing.lve been playing for 7 months, and lm 22, and l do feel the flow.its all from god not us...the ryhm...but prakctice is important and the will and loving it enyoing and realizing it coming from evreywhere not just you.keep on drumming.peace
That head was put on by a friend of mine but it has no effect on the sound so its all good he was jus doin sometn different. FYI I changed the bass heads to a remo set.
wow not bad and u dont sound like a begginer that was like intermidiate but seven yrs playing is not bad for this kind of playing.and noce pearl drums r the best but u should have gotten the export series instead of the forum cuz export is better and sounds better.check sum of my vids well nice playing
Yeah Pearl drums. Cool. Zildian As are great cymbals. Check out K fusions. It's a great cymbal line from Zildjian. I just noticed the look on your face from the end of that video that was funny. It was like a look of determination you had at the end. It's actually very good what you're doing if you're a beginner. How long you been playing?
A tip when tuning your drums tune each lug-nut that is a space a part from each other. DO NOT tune them each in order all around. Do that pattern for each drum.
you hold you're sticks quite strangely. You're grip is really low. Why?

I bought it from a friend for 200$ it was a steal i dont know the retail price for this pearl kit but i know it sales for much more.
iscjmane 2 years ago
@Bluespace101 a possible solution is an electronic drumset. Really good ones are expensive. But Ion makes a $160 starter's set. I'd start there.
xsvmaster 4 months ago
I definatley hear the drumline past inside your playing. i love it :)!! I have a pearl forum, how do you tune your snare and toms? O.o?
BryanNhisLP 2 years ago
I crank the snare to the max. Toms i tune to a low deeper tone. You get the crack pop sound of the snare and a low dark tone from the toms.

goberedhan23 4 years ago
was he doing 32nd note phills on the snare?
dugalicous 4 years ago
he doesnt need a bigger set, the most important thing in drumming is to know how to play your set, although he could do with a real ride.
12345635 4 years ago
What makes this such a sad video is that you aren't playing on a bigger kit!
A big ride would serve you very well and a couple of extra toms couldn't hurt either!
Very impressive for what you are working with!
Grimulus 4 years ago
He's using one of his toms as a pedestal for his boombox...lol.
Great job, though!
