Hey dude!!! its not completeeee!!!!! i was here in the edge of my sit whith saliva dropping my bottom lip watching your genious work an baam!!! where is the complete drawing??? it seem to be so beautiful (*-*) y want to see it!!! pleease!!
Curved tip gives better control because the hair becomes solid. and gives the shade within one line drawing so you can express the direction the light comes from for example when you draw a brunsh of tree.
Press brush on ink stone and take sumi ink only on the bented side. One side with sumi, the other side no sumi, then you draw the brush horizontally, the black and white in one line will appear. kazu
Thanks to both responses (bradford653 and kazushimura). I had noticed the brush tip doesn't seem to split when it's curved. Sounds like all good reasons to do it that way. I did try just copying the way you painted, and I found that I was having better control than before. In fact better than I thought possible for me. I also will try your other suggestions.
Your control of the brush is amazing. The painting is beautiful. I have a question. Does working with a curved brush tip give better control? Is it easier to work with than a straight tip? What are the reasons? Thanks.
