  • BENEDICT

  • I need to watch it a 2nd time o____o

  • 1:30

Oh my God Benedict Cumberbatch. Oh my God.

  • Had to stop watching the trailer, I can't let any scenes spoil the movie when I go see ! OMGOMGOGMOGMomgogmogomg!!!!

  • I honestly cannot wait to see this movie, all for one reason.. If something happens with Benny where I can use this in the context, I will be waiting in suspense for the moment when I can jump up in the theater, throw my hands up, and scream "NO SHIT, SHERLOCK!"

    I'm pathetic, I know.

  • The song at the end sounds like music from Metal Gear Solid

  • i like the part where benedict cumberbatch

  • Follow me on instagram @Glittzgurl :D

  • Gary Oldman? I thought that was Gary Coleman! Oh darn it.

  • Oh I really love old school spy style~! and there is Gary Oldman~!

  • Watch the Agent 6 trailer: watch?v=MlYnVbtYZqk

  • The trailer is ok but this is the stupidest movie iv seen in my entire life. It was absolutely retarded and queer ( seriosly two of the main characters were fags). I love spy movies but this was not a spy movie, this was just a movie that didnt make sense. As i was walking out of the theatre everyone was saying the same thing, " i didnt get it". Thats because there was nothing to get, there was no story. Even by british standards, this movie was bloody stupid!

  • @TheComyslayer Come back when you've read the book. In fact, come back when you've read a book.

  • @TheComyslayer actually this was a spy movie because it is based on what british spies did during the cold war (run networks of agents and flip enemy spies) but i guess you are too used to the usual rubbish where agents go around killing people before saving the world single-handedly. And by the way, what do you mean by ''even by british standards'' you mean it's not one of those ''great'' american films where ''nothing'' is made up to make you look better, e.g your war films.

  • I saw this movie and the HONEST TRUTH of what you will expect (not whether I think it is good or bad): Very SLOW mystery drama, and it is 85% or more just dialogue. Meaning people are talking softly in a small room in a monotone voice. This is NOT a THRILLER it is not like a Jason Bourne, James Bond, etc. There is no suspenseful music or edge of your seat scenes leading to a climatic end as this trailer makes it seem. It is more like "the tree of life" but more complex/confusing.

  • Hint to those who are about to see it: Glance at Gary Oldman's glasses each time he appears on screen. In the story's past he wears red frames, while in the story's present he wears large black ones. This should make it easy to keep track of what happens when, and thus this movie's rich story will make more sense on the first viewing.

  • I don't know about you guys, but I would find it kind of hard to say "One for Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy please". Something about the name puts me off. Other than that, great trailer.

  • each time I see Gary Oldman on screen, I know that I'll finish the movie even if it sucks. That's how good Oldman is!

  • It's got Tom Hardy. That's all I need to go see it.

  • Hope they show this movie in a nation wide release. It is in select theaters over here at the moment in the USA. Would love to see it. Looks incredible. The cast looks brilliant. Garry Oldman, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Tom Hardy. If it doesn't get a nation wide release then I will have to wait for the DVD.

  • Lmfao if a movie is titled "Tinker Tailor Solider Spy" then you should not watch it, if you have seen this film then you should kill yourself.

  • @goodperson656 its a book imbecile maybe you should kill yourself due to lack of common knowledge (or any at all considering it was stated in the trailer itself)

For your idiotic reference: 1. Go to Wikipedia 2. Type in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy 3. Be amazed at how much of an idiot you are.

P.S. (Post Script since your an uneducated moron): Learn how to spell the word "soldier"

  • @powerbird101 If people need to go toWikipedia to read/understand the plot of the movie that they just saw then the movie failed IMO

  • tinker tailor soldier sailor my bullet punishes all without distinction

  • What is the music from 1:28?I know the first song but not the second one in the trailer.

  • LOL...that damn MOLE!

  • Gary Oldman is a spy!

  • im not even watching the video, having too much fun with these snowflakes

  • This seems like a very good thriller.

  • wow heavy weight actors. i gotta see this one >.< b

  • Looks great. Can't wait to see it. I will always remember him to be Jim Gordian from The Dark Night!!

  • Is this Inception 2.0?

  • looks like shitty movie

  • This movie is not playing anywhere! What the hell.

  • gary oldman was a total douche in the movie Murder in the first. hes such a good actor.

  • Gary Oldman is great. One of my favorite actors now.

  • the article where the trailer appeared ."Brawn is just the tool of cleverer men who wield field agents like pawns in chess."

like the term "stupider".. "cleverer" is NOT a word. uneducated obama voters use incorrect grammarwhen writing articles.. educated common sense conservatives don't make such sub-human mistakes.

  • @phonefunk If you're going to be such a self-righteous, grandstanding dick wipe then at least be right about what you are saying.

  • I love movies where I go "Wait...That was Gary Oldman?!"

  • Wide-Release, please and thanks. I read the book, and it was good...I want to see the film without having to get on a train six hours. :) Thank you.

  • It says select cities but it should say select states instead. Since it's playing in only New York and California and then Hawaii for about one day.

  • I'm not going to spoil the movie or anything, but it was so good! The cast is flawless. Gary Oldman was incredible, but I also think Tom Hardy stood out. The story is really complex, you need to be really attentive throughout the whole thing, and at the beginning it's a bit confusing, but don't give up, you'll get it. The shots are fantastic, the soundtrack is to die for... Overall an excellent film.

  • Gary Oldman + John Hurt = a good movie

  • Gary Oldman has been delivering masterful acting for longer than one quarter of a century now, if I'm not mistaken. His Oscar is long constipatedly overdue.

  • @m3andros this is one thing people who love movies wouldnt do, fuck you

  • @m3andros fuck you you piece of shit. just because you put spoiler alert doesnt mean someones not goin to stop reading there. people can read a sentence at a time not just 2 fucking words. youve wrecked this movie for me now i and i probably wont see it because its ruined

  • The UK trailer is much better. It's painful that this trailer is recut to pander to Americans. Necessary but painful.

  • @macduckable BTW I am from the American continent.

  • @macduckable I prefer the American trailer, thank you very much!

  • OMG! COMMISIONER GORDON, BANE, SHERLOCK HOLMES, AND THE KING FROM THE KING'S SPEECH IN A MOVIE BASED ON AN EPIC BOOK!

  • @RANDOMFREAKSHOWCO And Mr. Olivander from Harry Potter.

  • why does this remind me of inception?

  • @tincan1215 It has Tom Hardy and the title sequence is reminicent!

  • Anyone know the name of the soundtrack in the second half of the trailer?

  • @rotrooney watch?v=gWE9mpBFciA

  • @Flexlol Thanks dude!

  • @rotrooney artist: Danny Elfman title: Wolf Suite Pt.1.

This music is also the soundtrack of the movie called "The Wolfman"

  • @ketzalcoat The first part as you said is from wolfman but the later part of the trailer soundtrack is audio machine- black cauldron. Via Flexlol.

  • @rotrooney thanks :)

  • But will this movie Blend

  • This looks like an over-scored but valiant attempt that will fall very short of le Carré's collaboration with BBC and Alec Guinness in the six part (six hour) production in the late seventies. That will remain as the gold standard. Guinness is forever the face of George Smiley, even to the extent that le Carré has stated that he patterned subsequent novels featuring him (The Honourable School Boy & Smiley's People) after Guinness's portrayal.

  • @MReineck actually the tinker tailor soldier spy mini-series was released in 1979 which is after the publication of an honourable schoolboy in 1977 so how could the smiley in the honourable schoolboy be based on alec guinness's portrayal.

  • @AlanG1997 I erred. Not in honorable school boy but in Smiley's People. David Cornwell stated this is an interview after he worked with Guinness in TTSP - a video interview available on the BBC DVD.

  • Looks interesting... most see it!!!!!

  • This is a wonderful warning, I will now be sure to never watch it. Thanks Youtube x

  • This looks amazing. I can't think of anything to say other then Cold War? Spies? European backdrop? Amazing Soundtrack? I can't wait!
