Wow. That horse looks identical to a Rocky Mountain Horse, and walks just like it, too. I thought Rocky Mountains were the only ones with chocolate bodies and flaxen manes and tales.

I ride at a Tennessee Walker barn, and the walkers are not padded. My instructor has trained many of them, and its obvious they are some of the easiest. She had started with a stallion she was shocked at how layed back he was for his first ride. Jumping a walker can mess up their gait, but some are really good at it. They're canter is probably the best canter I've ever ridden. It's long strided and flowing. Most at the barn are used in lessons as well, and seem to do really great with kids.

Its kind of the opposite of a MIssouri Fox Trotter, they trot behind and their front walks. Where as this THW looks like it trots in front and walks behind. they also look like they pace, like a SB.

The jump beautifully!

The canter like a rocking horse but it is smooth:)

and yea the gallop like other breeds

yes anyyyyy gaited breed can do any thing a non gaited breed can.. My Missouri Fox trotter can barrel, pole bend, and jump. I barrel raced her just for fun and we got 20 seconds! no practice nothing. But allll horses are different. Yes u can gallop and canter. just like a quarter can. check out some of my vids! theres planty of jumping and galloping in there! hope this helps! :) :) :) :)

I used to ride a walker that had a kindof rough walk-trot gait but an incredably gentle canter. He couldn't really gallop to keep up with the quarterhorses but he was nonetheless awesome on the trail and a really sweet boy.

I don't get it. It's a man-made gait were the horse walks with his hindlegs and trouts with his front legs so the riders has it as comfortable as possible. Do you really think this is right? That it is natural? *Excuse my bad english*

This is not a manmade gait alot of these horses will "gait" natural the best ride ever on a horse. Although alot of people don't know how to properly ride a gaited horse and it will end with the result of pacing or troting

Yep. This is not a man-made gait. It's 100% natural. Like a horse that doesn't know how to do flying lead changes when you're in the saddle yet it does them all the time in the pasture, some TWHs need help with their gait.
