I feel and share your pain. There are days I want to scream at the morons saying we are in the beginning of the bull market. Just remember a few things in all this:

1. The world has never been in this much debt, there is no historical precedent for this

2. From 2008 to 2009 is eerily similar to the years 1929-1930 on the New York stock exchange. Look at a chart and you will see what I mean.

3. Humans think on day-to-day cycles. You have to think in terms of multi-month and yearly cycles.

I like Celente and I think what he says is true as far as it goes. However, he does not go far enough. The people on the other side have seen what's coming for decades. Not a big suprise given their resources. What's coming is that within a few decades at most, 95% of us will be dead, and it won"t be pretty. China is trying hard to get out of the dollar. They are buying assets like gold and copper in large quantities. They have invested in mining companies and energy companies world wide. What is more important is that China is doing a great job of reaching out to other Asian countries and providing them with aid and trade avenues for goods. They are smart because they realized a long time ago that there are other partners which will become more important to them beyond U.S.A. in the future.

For instance, they have been buying gold for years, but only officially announced the doubling of their resevers recently. there's a storage area about a mile from my house....not much gas would be used to go there and come back.

I'm going to fill it with sacks of rice in large plastic containers to keep vermin out, noodles and beans. These things can keep for a long, long time.

I'm also going to stock up on non-perishables like toilet paper, soap, duct tape, etc.

I'm gonna stock up not just for myself, but my brothers and sisters families.

Many people even seal these plastic pails with wax. You can get these buckets from any grocery store that bakes cakes. I get mine at Food 4 Less just ask for there frosting containers.
