the only one can save wahlen here is the german on the botton, if he raise AQ , Ivy would go all-in anyway and Wahlen can think to go out of the way. Is an option cause Whalen's shortstacked and probably would go into that anyway. Nothing to do here, except praying that none have AA first and that A hits the board after!

I just wonder why Ivey was so confident with his KK. There's always a possibility that Whalen has AA. You can't tell from the preflop with the way Whalen was raising. Maybe Ivey has a sixth sense that I don't have.

@rainbowcicak he isnt sure but KK is not foldable with M=12 - number of rounds before you will have no chips left if you don't play a hand. If you run into AA with KK its just a cooler.

you dont know the handhistory, and no, not 150k but over 200k in the pot allready, also phil would make the same move with 10-10, J-J, Q-Q, A-K, its a late position opener, with that range Whalen is 60-40% underdog about what hes gettin from pot odds alone. Add some squeeze play probablity and it must be the right move to call.

May you are right, I just only know, It would be hard for me call this with AK, cause in my oinion, it isnt so strong hand in that situation. But I am not pro, just a better player, then my friends and a few people in my favorite casino. So, I cant say, you arent right. I have only my own opinion.

i think it depends, also because he opend from late position represents a wider range, AK is very strong hand, if the button would 3bet and Ivey moves over the top allin, you might fold. As played I think the AK is flippin most of the time. I would take the chance, probably an even bet vs Ivey, im not gonna outplay him preflop.
