best thing i ever bought for my kitchen was a sealing machine. Sure the bags cost money but I can premake meals and buy in bulk to save money. That and a deep freezer make mealtime easy.

I think it's so that your freezer doesn't smell like fish. When you do freeze fish, the fish smell never goes away. I have like 4 fridges and they all smell like fish!
