i would have to disagree about baby talking a dog... I'm a dog groomer, and I've had quite a few instances where if you're calming talking a dog through the process, he/she will calm down.
the comments to this video frighten me ... do these people have any empathy at all for a frightened animal? calling an animal "spoiled" when it is obviously traumatized is beyond belief.
i can't believe this video ... they're laughing while this dog is clearly absolutely terrified ... he is "difficult" and they have no compassion ... i know that poodle fur is best kept short, but my poodle can only tolerate a scissor cut so that's what i do ... there's no excuse for torturing an animal like this ... they're laughing while he's fighting for his life ... the nazis laughed when they tortured their victims i'm sure ... who would want their animal put through this?
when my toy poodle was just a puppy he hates grooming and showed sign of aggression, and i spank him but not really hard, and after that he likes grooming.. we should discipline them when they're just puppies, i just don't want him to be a spoiled dog
@albenizski Wow. You spank him and now he enjoys grooming? Did it ever cross your tiny mind that he now shuts down during grooming for fear of being spanked again? What reason would he possibly have to enjoy grooming when you've taught him to associate it with spanking??
@msminnamouse lol i only spank him once, he showed signs of aggressions, if i don't correct that behavior he will be spoiled.. i wont let bad things happen to my dog, so don't worry my dog is fine and happy, and we love him very much

Wow she uses the same approach to crazy dogs that I do too, cool. When dog's go crazy like this, I just try to continue with the grooming as efficiently as possible, without harm to me or the dog
I do wonder how they got the dog dry, and as for letting dogs struggle in restraints, arent you not supposed to allow that? something tells me that a dog can seriously hurt themselves thrashing around that violently.
I have used this groomers helper at work and I don't really like it. It's great for dogs that don't like their back area to be done but most of the dogs that I get are bad for their front end and this doesn't help at all for that.

by the time 4 minutes hits the clipper blade could be hot thats prob y he doesnt like his backend done. you are using a hot clipper in sensitive areas... try cool lube spay lady.. everytime he gets groomed he remembers the hot clippers on his back legs..
