  • @0812201 any videos of 31 back in the early 90's

  • @2GUNBOY You sound like an old person

  • I remember seeing a video of the SRR back when #89 looked like this, and it had the highest pitched whistle.

  • An F40PH pulling the Keystone Service through Leaman Place while #89 turns around; the old paint on those Strasburg cars; those were the days. Oh, how I miss them. Thanks for the memories!

  • Was 89 the only running that day? Was 31 serviceable?

  • woooo F40!!! awesome video...but i like the way the locos look now...in their original "look", if not paint scheme!

  • I liked this whistle better on 89.

  • nice job on a great video five stars*******

  • I love the CN paint scheme of course, but I really liked the single yellow pin strip on the driver tires during this period

  • it sounds very famulair

  • Great Video Len! I love how Strasburg looked back then.

  • Great video!

  • can you please add more

  • Some day, I may have to take a trip there.

  • great vid

  • Great stuff Len! It's great to have you post all this "old" stuff, because most knowledgeable people who have been around to see this haven't bothered to post this stuff on the "modern" Youtube. Have a great day Len!

  • What kind of whistle did 89 wear back then? I like it better than the one she wears now!! It sounds so cool! I also LOVE how 89 looked back then!!! SO BEAUTIFUL!!

  • she sounds in 1991 a lot like SRR 610

  • Uhh... SRR never owned a 610. The whistle is a B&O 3-chime. It was on 89 most recently from 10/03 to 08/07.

  • Actually they did....Texas & Pacific 610 was a 2-10-4 that Southern used in their steam program back in the 70s for a short while...

  • Just love the Good Ol' Strauburg Railroad its an amazing ride on an old Nice Steam Giant! everything filmed here i Still remember from 7years ago still love that amazing Whistle on #89! Oh Wow Lucky You! You caught an Amtrak F40 while waiting for the turn around! when the turn around came for us we saw nothing but tracks :( Nice K5La there WOW was he traveling!
